Watch the video, he said they said they had nothing to charge him with. Probably because he cooperated. He didn’t drive off evading the stop like LaVoy did.

There is a rumor(as you would expect) going around that McConnell is an FBI informant. So we are left with his story and the very different story of an 18yo woman. I will wait to pass judgment until all the witnesses are given the opportunity to tell their version and the Clackamas County Sheriff issues their report. Anything else is just a waste of time.
You are right it’s all speculation at this point. Some people are at the conclusion stage already. That’s a problem.
I wonder about anyone who has their head up looking around during a hailstorm of 120 bullets coming your way. That doesn’t make much sense to me. Most people would duck and find cover.
if there were 120 rounds discharged it is truly amazing that there is only one dead/wounded. LEO’s are notoriously bad shots - even the FBI.

Apparently you didn’t listen to Victoria Sharp’s eye witness testimony of what happened. Do you think that if you repost Mark McConnell’s facebook video often enough as in every other post you make it will make his story more believeable?
Innocent until proven guilty goes for law enforcement too.

Way to early for conclusions.
Amon Bundy also called his wife from the back seat of a cop car. He witnessed Lavoy being shot with his hands up. This is how the word got out of what happened. Victoria Sharp is the second witness to come forward and corroborate what happened. She also was the closest person to Lavoy Finicum when he was killed that has spoken.
Most people on Free Republic are looking for the whole story, and have concerns about the tyrannical government just as these Patriots did. The only ones doing the shooting were government agents. They clearly outnumbered the Patriots and extreme use of force was NOT warranted.

I still find it hard to believe anyone would have their head up looking around when a hail of bullets are incoming.
Does anyone know if LaVoy was armed? He seemed to always be armed. He was when he vandalized the utility security cameras. Add to that his public statement that he would rather die than be arrested - then fleeing from an officer - it was not a good combination of choices.
Read all the comments on the video - nothing there that would lead you to believe McConnell is an FBI informant.
