The government is out of control and lawless. It needs to be reigned in and brought to justice, not fed and expanded.

Why didnât the police say this guy attacked them and they were forced to shoot him? Because they don't have to lie. The media, the justice system, the politicians, the governor - they will all lie.

You're joking, right? If there was video backing up the LEOs side of the story, it would have been shown at the press conference today. Any video we might see from here on out will have been doctored.
It's like taqiyya to Muslims...it's their duty to lie to further their cause. You can't believe a word any LEO says about the situation, either on US 395 yesterday, or the alleged threats being made in Burns. It's all a friggin' lie!
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

I had another cynical thought- we now have had 3 presidents that have fed cops killing citizens- there will be no repercussions from this one either.
Just another dead citizen -

Going home would have been a good choice, instead of all the bad ones that ended with him getting killed. If ALL Americans took your coward's advice, and just went home, there soon wouldn't be an America to go home to.
Mr. Finicum died living the life he loved, and fighting for the America he believed in. Like thousands of American heroes before him, who also did not go home in the face of adversity, he courageously fought what he considered the good fight until the bitter end.

McConnell was not a witness to the shooting. End of that story. However there were witnesses. So maybe we learn what happened, maybe not.

we all need dash cam pros to fight these assholes.

Yes other witnesses told McConnell what happened. That’s what he said in the video anyway.
McConnell saw LaVoy take off - saw the wheels spinning when LaVoy jumped out.

McConnell stated, not hinted, that he did NOT witness the shooting. Anything he has to say on it is hearsay. There are witnesses. One says he had his hands up when he was shot and then shot three more times when he hit the ground. I don’t know if that witness is reliable or not but if her story is corroborated by anybody else some bad juju went down. I will wait on that.

That family photograph is part of the reason I believe Mr. Finicum did NOT initiate a gunfight with police.
The hazy account we are hearing so far does not pass the "sniff test" in my estimation.
He was a strong man and devoted man with a backbone who stood for his rights. I do not believe he was recklessly violent.

What happened is a consequences of a series of choices he made. Different choices would have has a different outcome.

Yeah, he could have said they're just trying to destroy some other rancher's life, not mine, not my concern.
Who's going to speak for you when they come knocking at your door?
