You won't be satisfied no matter what Trump ever does, for anyone.

Look, if the veterans get some funding out of tomorrow night, good for them. But let's not pretend that tomorrow night is about anything other than Donald. Donald does do anything or give to anybody unless he personally benefits in some way. Do you really think the same man that insulted every serviceman who was ever a POW really cares about veterans as anything other than a campaign prop? Yes, he has done some things for vets at his campaign rallies - because it gets him positive press.

But if you look at Donald's rare and miserly charitable giving before he decided to run for president, you don't see that same concern for veterans, or for first responders or for the victims of 9/11, of for much of anything, actually. When asked about Donald's charitable giving, his spokesperson rattled off a bunch of donations to various charities, but it turns out that those donations came from his foundation, and were actually funded by donations to his foundation from other people- not from Donald. So Donald was actually trying to take credit for charity from other people!

Cruz just trumped Trump with the $1.5 mil donation to Vet Orgs IF, Trump agrees to a one on one debate.

One of the fascinating aspects of an open forum is the free for all and give and take, that takes place, allowing for the expression of a life well lived, through random conversations, wherein some of the most interesting ideas, notions, opinions, experiences, etc. congeal into this abstract art form, which turns now and then (unintentionally) into a masterpiece.

What a cherished memory- meeting an associate of such an emanate scientist such as Braun. I’ll have to do a little homework, which thanks to the www won’t take long.

I would add, you probably didn’t expect to see Dr. Werner Von Braun, fictitiously portrayed as Trump’s (proxy) campaign manager. ;0)

Crazy dang ol’ freepers.

That is the reason the foundation was set up for.

Perhaps you should look longer and deeper at Cruz and explain to me how scriptural it is to use the Word of God to advance yourself in a secular position, politically - to the degree that you are indirectly suggesting that you are some kind of messiah and that true Christians should put on the ‘armor of God’ for you. How Biblical is that, really? Especially when it is glaringly apparent that Cruz has not been completely forthcoming.

Did you send this to the wrong person? I never mentioned “the armour of God” or that I am suggesting i am a messiah. I also never mentioned Cruz name.

The Christians I know here at FR knows there is only one messiah, Jesus. Also, since freedom of religion is still legal, we can and believe we should bring our beliefs into every part of life. It's hypocrites who say they believe but live for themselves (using women for financial gain in strip clubs).

Admission to Trumps events has been free.

He probably has planned exactly what you suggest. Throw a million into the donation pot to make sure the event is a success.

Yes. But can you explain why Trump would try to pass off the foundations donations as his own?

Actually, Cruz did not trump Trump. Why doesn’t Cruz make an outright donation to said veteran’s organization, without stipulations? You might have a leg to stand on if that happens.

I thought I was being rather clear. I suggested you turn some of your sin searching toward Cruz in that it seems to me that deceiving the flock through the misapplication of spiritual motives is a huge harm to the church itself versus, let's say, sins of the flesh.

And although I have never been to one myself, I understand that there are some adult clubs in those hotels/casinos... of which they bare the name of Trump who built them. He does not own a string of strip clubs.

I guess it is up to you to decide whether the builder of casinos (though a few) is worse than the misapplication of God's word for one's own interest. And, the reason I bring this up is because you seem overtly concerned about the Godliness of the candidates.

Trump....”doesn’t work/play well with others”. I’d hate to him to get on his high horse with world leaders. it would not bode well.

We’ve had enough of that, thank you very much!

Cruz or Lose! ;)

oh...and I’ll be watching the debate, not the narcissist.

without stipulations

Cruz is losing and he knows it. He is acting like some badly beaten palooka from a Rocky movie never made - trying to goad the champ into a rematch with cheap slogans.

You need to get the URL of a picture you want. If it is your own, you need to put it on a server visible on the Internet. Photobucket would be such an example, but you could create your own photo site on your computer (but everyone who tried to see the photo would be hitting your computer to provide that picture).

Once you have the URL, you type in an HTML line with that within it. The HTML Sandbox link near the top of the main Free Republic forum page tells you what that code is.

He puts his money and other peoples money into the foundation to manage it. Really rich folks do that. I think his children manage the Foundation. When you ask a truly wealthy person what charity they do... they always answer through their foundation.

A media war.

We should all tune in to CNN just for the heck of it to watch Fox’s ratings go down.

He has put very little of his own money into the foundation. Look it up. Over a 20 year period, a man worth $10 billion put a total of $3-4 million into the foundation, and most of the money from the foundation went into other foundations operated by other celebrities.

Nope. Cruz is coordinating with his SuperPac so he just broke campaign finance laws.

Unctuous truly describes Rafael.

Why Cruz? Because he might beat Trump? If Carson or Rubio or any other candidate was close in the polls you would be telling me to question their morality. You don’ care about morality and/or you don't care about Trumps morality at all. Like democrats who don't care about the immoral things Hillary or Obama do, you think we shouldn't question Trump. The Christians I know on FR care if their president is immoral. We have a right to look at character, if that's not important to you...that's between you and God. I want to make sure every person knows about trump, including his bragging about all the women he “had”....I just found out myself. To say trump has nothing to do with his strip clubs sounds like Hillary and her email excuses. All anyone has to do to see if it's true is Google Donald trump tajmahal strip clubs scores.
