A little background on Oregon Governor Kate Brown, who called in the Feds and urged them to squash this legal protest:
She is openly bisexual.
She’s the one who appointed the health commissioners who subsequently passed the edict allowing 15 year olds to get Medicaid-funded tranny surgery without parental notification.
She’s a buddy and backer of Brad Avakian, the bureaucrat behind the harassment of the Christian bakers over the gay wedding cake.
What jumps out from the posted link: Harney County, Oregon is 76 % under Federal control. This fact—assuming it is a fact—lends 100% credence to the protestors’ grievances.
So this is what we have here: a homofascist state governor who is against parental rights and against state’s rights; she is against state control of its own land, and against the private property rights and right to assemble and seek redress, of her own state’s citizens. She is in cahoots with the Feds against her own constituency.
The people get the gubbermint they elected.
Brown has her track record and there just happens to be an election this year......The GOP will exploit with emotions, but will it change anything other than a notch or two and in a symbolic way only when it comes to the federal domination of the land in rural Oregon.
I read that the woman in the gov’t (forgot position) responsible to ‘re-sentencing the ranchers was formerly just a child advocate clerk and has since had to step down for sexual harassment.
Curious as to how the protest is legal.
