Are you really that dense? The guy with one of the top shows on NBC and made $200 million off it does not know how the game is played? Really?

You may want to rethink your thoughts.

I have thought about it. But speaking of dense — I don’t think too many of his supporters have thought *too* much about it. I think they see a guy poking the GOP in the eye and stop looking any further. Like I’ve said before, the only thing his “running” from a fight with Megyn Kelly does is make Trump look like a petulant child. As if he can only “win” when the deck is stacked well in his favor.

Neither these debates, nor the presidency and congress, will be like his normal “business” deals where he holds all the financial leverage and it’s either his way or the highway.

If elected, he’s going to have to deal with dems in congress who have no incentive to change anything. Gridlock benefits them as well as the GOPe. So Trump will have to negotiate with them to advance his agenda. All fine and well until the dems refuse to budge on his *SIGNATURE* agenda item: “border security & immigration”. And I think we can all agree that the dems digging in on that is a reasonable expectation. Trump will have to get them to agree to stifle an influx of millions of new *democrat* voters. He *will* have to deal with them and he/we *need* him to succeed.

But here’s the (so far) HYUUUUGE unknown: What if anything has Trump said is non-negotiable and what is he willing to cede to the dems to gain enough of their votes in congress when needed to advance his *SIGNATURE* agenda? What basic rights will he allow further infringement upon by either legislation and/or executive policy? Assault rifle ban? Magazine bans? Planned Parenthood funding? Private Property Rights? Will he trade Supreme Court nominations?

What sort of Supreme Court justice(s) does he plan to nominate? Will he agree to nominate another Sotomayor or Kagen in return for the dems agreeing to a (perhaps) watered down version of his border/immigration plan so that his ego can claim a win?

With no leverage against the dems other than giving them *something* they want (in whole or in part) that is sufficient to get enough of them to go along with his agenda. In that regard, has Trump said which of our rights are non-negotiable? What will he not surrender in his negotiations?

As far as I am aware, he has been silent on all of this. He only speaks in vague generalities. I’d like to hear him state specifically that he is not going to allow *any* further infringement on anything in the bill of rights and I’d like to hear specifically what he will look for in appointing judges to federal benches *and* SCOTUS. Until then, his supporters might want to rethink their thoughts too. Maybe instead of mere fist-pumps and high-fives, they could take just a moment or two to ask Trump some pertinent questions and do us *all* a favor.
