I still think a Trump/Cruz ticket would crush the Beast and the Commie. Why not Cruz/Trump? For the simple reason that Trump has fangs, and will not hesitate to fight hard. Cruz is a great conservative but is too much of a gentleman.
If Cruz can show some fight and absolutely (and he'll have to) crushes Trump, I'll back him. Otherwise, I'm backing the one man who I know fights, and who resonates with the American people.
Levin’s not impartial. Rush would be a good moderator for a debate between the two. Would be funny to see the ratings it got if they went at the same time as Fox.
Cruz is no coward out of his depth on the issues like the Donald. Cruz has never backed down from a fight against a liberal or a RINO and will never stop fighting for us conservatives.
If Cruz had any guts he would demand Fox apologize for that insulting press release. It is easier to try to look tough and have your trained monkey moderate it.

That is all Ted Cruz is...a debater. Not a doer. That’s why he likely won’t be in the race a month from now.
A good old-fashioned Lincoln-Douglas debate. No moderator. I’d love to see that.
First question: What is your understanding of how the tenth Amendment is being ignored by judicial tyrants?
Second question: Precisely who will you negotiate with in Congress to fund your proposed wall? (Works for both candidates since they’ve both proposed it.)
(Follow up: if Trump says Mexico will pay for it, please outline how you will negotiate those wall-funding tariffs through Congress)
Third question: Name 5 people you would consider as potential nominees to the Supreme Court.
Fourth question: You’ve both said you will deport illegal aliens. Sen Cruz: how do you intend to do this without a “deportation force”. Mr. Trump: which federal government branch will you use as a deportation force?
Fifth Question: name the two countries or super-national forces that pose the biggest threat to American security. What will be your strategy for defeating those entities.
As much as I admire Trump for his boldness, Cruz would wipe the floor with him in a straight debate.
Yet Jindal challenged Cruz this same way and Cruz poo pooed it. Jindal quit 3 weeks later.
Once he finds the debate will go on as scheduled, Trump will demand to be let back in.
It amazes me how none of my fellow FReepers get why Trump did this. His intention is to de-legitimize FoxNews, and take power away from Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch. This is about the candidate controlling the message...becoming the pure message, unfiltered. the power of this move will become more apparent in time, and it will change everything.
