Yes, I read it.
Trump wants to be POTUS. He should put on his big-boy pants and attend the debate like an adult seeking the highest office in the land instead of acting like a petulant little brat.
His attack-the-media strategy has been an effective weapon for him. The media has deserved the treatment they’ve gotten most times.
A presidential debate is different. It’s not about Trump and the media and ratings. It’s a job interview in front of the American public. Donald’s refusing to attend is a slap in the face to the people who want to hear him answer substantive questions about how and why he’s qualified for the job he’s seeking instead of campaign-pep-rally rhetoric.
Maybe he will go live on CNN during debate.
This is a preview of how a President Trump will conduct his business. My way or the highway. Not necessarily good.Did you say the same thing when Reagan walked out on Gorbachev?
Why start having principles now?
As I recall there were 26 of them with no furniture and half the floor missing, all huddled together in the corner for fear of falling.
Or did he live in an old water tank on a rubbish tip?
Hank
Trump should buy TV time and turn it into a marathon raising money for vets.
nice! full disclosure, i’m not a trump guy, but on this, Go Trump! keep sticking it to the lefty press.
It would be great if someone had the balls to walk away and let the govt shutdown instead of wuss sing out and signing another bloated budget deal though wouldn’t it?
Do you think she wrote the press release? Sounds about her speed.
Trump supporters are the same as people who would support Ozzie Osbourne and Kim Kardashian. It’s hard to believe that the same people who bought into that “Hope and Change” crap would buy into it again with different packaging.
You can watch Huckabee and Santorum in the kiddie debate instead: it’s shorter.
Could you send a link to help me find that? A Google search and checking the senate site said the legislation that he wrote and the authorization to give those medals was part of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2015 and that Cruz voted no.
Agreed.
This was a no-brainier for Donald. All win, no loss.
It reminds me of when RR fired the air trafficking controllers. It sent a message: I MEAN what I say, and I’m not afraid to be non-conventional.
Really? How many of these useless snooze fests are required for the American people to know what Trump wants to do?
These aren’t real debates... They’re media hoaxes, designed the make money. It’s awesome that Someone has finally had the balls to say NO.
I wish folks were willing to walk out on budget negotiations and let the govt shut down more often instead of caving.
“Did you say the same thing when Reagan walked out on Gorbachev? “
Oh, I think what Reagan did was far more consequential than just a narcissistic tantrum.
Do you agree or do you think Reagan was a narcissist?
It sure would. So I take it McConnell and Ryan are not your men, eh?
I believe Ted Cruz is the most principled in either House.
Standing up to a real government scam to ‘just get along’ is quite a bit more difficult than simply walking away from a tv show.
He has as much right as you or anyone else on this forum to post, so take your sanctimonious attitude and stuff it up your fourth point of contact.
Google where the authorization came from. It was part of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2015. Senate records show Cruz voted no for apparently several reasons but still voted no
