...In the tweet, Sasse takes issue with how Trump "brags" about "many affairs." That's up for debate, including whether Trump had more than one affair. Trump wrote that he once considered an open marriage with his first wife, and in his book "The Art of the Comeback" he said: "If I told the real stories of my experiences with women, often seemingly very happily married and important women, this book would be a guaranteed best-seller."
Trump has also said: "I have too much respect for women in general, but if I did [write about my love life], the world would take serious notice. Beautiful, famous, successful, married â I've had them all, secretly, the world's biggest names..."

but I'd point out that sleeping with another woman not your spouse while married is NOT forbidden in the Bible. Yowza! I'd say that behavior is called "adultery".

You may call it that all you want, but the fact remains that the Bible has a different definition of adultery - already referenced the citation above. Adultery in the Bible is strictly and *expressly* defined as “**marrying** someone not your spouse while still married to another” or “marrying someone not your spouse while *they* are still married to another.”
The Bible does NOT prohibit concubinage or ‘sleeping around’. Which, given the era and inheritance laws of the time, does make sense. It doesn’t say it’s a good idea (in fact, in 2nd Samuel it implies that it’s a bad idea and can ruin your life) but it’s not forbidden nor is it a sin.

What? Once you become sexual impure, duh, fornicate/commit adultery your are dead if you don't repent and quit your behavior. A very consistent command btw.
Read more into what Christ stipulated. Not only could you NOT have a fling (Fornicate/Adultery used as a excuse for divorce), you could not even divorce your spouse and take another wife/husband, talk about strict.
Can you not comprehend? Are you even a Christian? If not I can understand your ignorance. Mathew 19 emphasizes that sexual strictness straight from Christ's mouth. Should I correlate this with Christ's other commands against fornication, hence, blowing another argument out of the water, for instance Matthew 15: 16-19/heart/sexual immorality/defiled yourself? Jeez lol.

I understand your point but that was not her intent when she said one paid for it and the other didn’t.

Fornication and adultery, yeah God approves that, lol. You are also confusing free will with allowing.

The Bible does NOT prohibit concubinage or 'sleeping around'. These behaviors are what Jesus calls "fornication". Which, for true Christians, is also prohibited behavior.

Let me give you a tip in return. When all you’ve got is correcting the typos and of a guy pecking on his phone, you advertise to the world that you have no real argument, or even anything meaningful to add.

You’re kidding right. Have you Trump supporters gone so far over the edge that yoou are now excusing Trump cheating on his wife. If you’ll cheat in your spouse you’ll cheat in anything. In otherwords, you’re untrustworthy.

Again - kindly find the passage in the Bible that lists where concubinage is forbidden. You won’t. In fact, you will find many of the figures in the Bible had concubines and ‘slept around’ on their wives. God didn’t seem to have a problem with that.
I’d also point out that the original term (after the Aramaic) was the Greek word ‘porneia,’ of which “fornication” was the English word the King James translators chose. Unfortunately, as with more than a few translations they chose, it’s not really strictly correct. That link someone posted earlier actually has an interesting discussion of it: http://thenarrowpath.com/ta_divorce.php
Porneia translates ‘better’ as ‘sexual immorality’, but even that doesn’t really grasp the concept - which is a whole other discussion...
And yes - pretty sure I’m a Christian, even though we apparently differ quite radically on interpretation of Bible verse. Here’s Matthew 15:19:
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Of note is that Christ specifically separates out adultery from fornication. They’re two different things - more to the point, of that list, two are not specifically listed as sins under the Mosaic law. He’s saying these are bad ideas (and they very much are) but not everything on that list is prohibited.

Hint: Not a Trump supporter, I would actually rather have Cruz. Just pointing out both the practical reality (voters don’t care, they voted in the Sexual Offender From Arkansas twice despite knowing about his affairs) and the fact that it’s not strictly forbidden in the Bible. (Doesn’t make it a *good* idea either.)

Well... you know... I'm not saying that it's an issue... It's just that I'm hearing other people bringing it up as an issue. I'm not saying it, I wouldn't think it's a problem, it's just that other people, very important people, are saying it. And if other very.. very important people are bringing it up, well, that may be a problem for him. A really, very big problem for him, that's all. If other people are bringing it up then maybe it's something he needs to take more seriously and get this issue resolved before the election. Me? I think he's a good guy and maybe he should just get this cleared up once and for all, that's all...

Moicheia was not used in 19, but porneia (Physical sexual intercourse, prostitution, unchaste etc...) sure was, lol, why is that?
Where are concubines allowed/sanctified post Mosaic laws? Where is that listed? If God was for bigamy then why does the Law state otherwise?

"In fact, you will find many of the figures in the Bible had concubines and âslept aroundâ on their wives."
And look what happened. Ishmael and a whole kingdom shattered, yeah that's "godly". Anyone could have many wives, the problem becomes if Jesus sanctifies that, which is not the case at all.

Cruz is getting lost in all of these "protectors" and hand-holders. I don't know who the guy is anymore. He's just kind of...there now. People are piling in and snatching his campaign away from him because they don't see him as being able to do this on his own. Beck, National Review, Levin and others are desperately trying to project this tough hombre image through their own attacks they think they are doing on his behalf.
Add this to the mythology his supporters already spin around him and he is rapidly shrinking into the fog of his "help".
Cruz had Sasse out today attacking Trump for his womanizing in his younger days. What I really like about Trump is that he fights it all by myself. He never asks for help, never expects it, and does what he sees fit.
