If during my working years in a medium size company, if none of my closest colleagues liked me, I would consider myself as unlikable. If one does not get along with people he/she works with everyday, that speaks volumes.
If all of them were thieves and liars, but you were honest would you go along to get along? Sorry, the Senate just gave away the store and lead the country down a path to destruction.
If you made friends to all these thieves and scoundrels it would speak volumes. He is hated because he brought up the fact that the Senators have no morals or principles. They did the opposite of what they campaign on.
And no, this comment has nothing to do Trump. If Cruz can not defeat Trump now he will lose the election anyway. If he wins by fighting back then he deserves the chance. The media and Dems are going to be more vicious and full of lies. He better learn how to fight back. Trump is giving him an education.
In the Senate, the employees are hired by people all over the country to accomplish different things. Unless everyone in the country agrees on everything, people aren't going to get along.
We hired a slew of shiny Republican faces to be Conservatives. Most fell far short of the mark, or the Congress wouldn't be giving Obama everything he wants. Cruz and a couple of others have stood for those Conservative values far more often than most, and Cruz, especially, is resented for that.
He isn't there to wheel and deal, he is there to do what he was sent there to do.
That 'stand your ground' attitude isn't popular with some folks. Bucking the GOPee isn't going to win friends on the Hill, either, and since they are practically engaged to the Democrats, you know there won't be any love from that side of the aisle, either.
So, why is it when Cruz isn't everyone's pal, that's a bloody horrorshow, but when Trump craps wherever he chooses, that's great?
Sounds like a double standard to me.
