For Donald Trump, in some ways, Ted Cruz "looks like a jerk."

The heated personal rhetoric directed by Trump at Cruz cranked up another few degrees on Tuesday morning, with the Manhattan business mogul unloading on his Republican rival in back-to-back morning show interviews.

...

"He's a liar," Trump said of Cruz, adding, "that's why nobody likes him

...

"He looks like a jerk, he's standing all by himself.

...

Co-host Mika Brzezinski interrupted, asking Trump if he was actually comparing Cruz to President Barack Obama. "Well, they're the same. I think actually, Ted is more strident than Obama, if you want to know the truth...

TRUMP is proving himself to be a piece of work against CRUZ by resorting to insults to make himself look strong.

It was funny at first, but now it has become tiresome. I can’t imagine enduring this behavior if he is POTUS.

The hallmarks of rebellion against professional politicians include unbridled derision and insults - deserved, in my opinion.

I am a Cruz supporter but have avoided the Trump bashing because I could vote for him against Hillary. At some point Trump needs to consider how many conservative votes he is willing to lose with his behavior toward Cruz. If he goes to far he may have to consider Cruz as a VP to shore up his right flank.

More like Andrew Dice Clay, just cleaned up a little for his kool-aid sippers. The man is demented, all the support he has and INSISTS on alienating Cruz supporters for absolutely no reason at all. He needs to be diagnosed.

This is how he’s always been. He is great, amazing at everything. If you agree, you’re a good guy because you feed into the narcissism

If you’re a critic, you’re a loser and a failure.

Nobody should be surprised by this.

If this happens, Cruz needs to make it hurt.

I am feeling less and less comfortable about a President Trump every day.

I think he will end up betraying us in too many ways.

Is Trump running or Rickles?

Cruz looks like a hockey puck.

A constipated hockey puck.

has it really sunk to this - good Lord, is this the BEST we have? I understand the electorate is pissed beyond words....but really, this name calling is childish and is only appealing to a undiscerning base.

This is a thinking mans world and I'm just not seeing it. What I do see is a narcissist / bully. I'm curious to see how this crap flies when he's trying to build a consensus on anything....this is a big big character flaw

...and rashly wrote off New York’s 29 electoral votes with his ‘New York Values’ comment...

NO Republican is going to win NY in a general election.

The difference is Trump himself said he had NY Values, Cruz just reminded everyone.

Calling someone a liar....better be able to back it up.

Typical spoiled brat cruz loser. God you hate America don’t you. To want Hillary or Bernie over Trump is so dang selfish. Just cause you don’t get your way, you give a tantrum and stay home. Typical 2 year old behavior. Lord Cruz should be embarrassed that you support him.

Trump 2016!

I must say I really don’t like this style of campaigning, Donald.. (it demeans you a lot more than it demeans your competitors)

Trump isn’t the only one saying Cruz is a jerk. Everyone who has worked with him has said the same thing - he is an a-hole to work with and cannot get anything done. It has nothing to do with ideology or being a conservative.

That's the problem with Donald. He just can't keep his big mouth shut. He reminds me of the family member that just has to tell what is on his mind no matter when, no matter where, not matter to whom.

If Trump has it in the bag like all his worshipers on here, he might take a cue from Ronald Reagan and try to speak better about others and not see how much they can insult them. This is why I do not for one moment think this is over like Trumpettes think!

Well, Trump's work is done.

We will have President Hillary, she will be immune to prosecution and Trump will receive his rewards (Kelo, tax rulings, etc.).

Once again, DemonRats Trump Republicans.
