When it comes to immigration reform, Senator Ted Cruz has made it abundantly clear what he opposes: giving citizenship to people who broke the law to come here.
What has not been as evident is what he supports: legal status for millions of people here already, while making it easier for immigrants to come here through the front door.
"I have said many times that I want to see common-sense immigration reform pass," he said. "I think most Americans want to see the problem fixed."

Yes, we have. So you are contending your only issue with those articles is that we didn’t modify the title to put [FLASHBACK] on it?
Trump supporters have been screaming it was irrelevant. I have no problem discussing Cruz’s history - the good and the mistakes. I have never cried foul. Trump supporters scream foul for delving into Trump’s history.
So when Trump supporters post history articles, I remind them of the inconsistency. Just a little consistency from the opposition is all I ask.
Cruz is not offering the deal dynamic that Trump is... aw, I’ve said this about 1000 times already, nobody is listening :-)
Anyhow, you can come however you please to the political costume party but you need to be able to defend what you came as.
The article where Sessions said Cruz was with him was also after the gang of eight fight. Notice the past tense.
See my post number 12 to see how fallacious this is.
You are barely rational. Where did I ever say that?
After seeing a few years of "deal dynamics" from Trump's good friend McConnell, who he helped fend off the tea party challenge he earned by breaking his promise to those who gave him a majority, I am a little hesitant to see what Trump's "deal dynamic" is.
After all, we have no voting record at all from Trump, only his words and actions on the political landscape...what he has said and you he has supported.
Well he’s still gathering an agenda, is what I mean. And he’s said so. He isn’t claiming to present the perfect package that is him, and trust him that he personally gets it right.
...aaaaand the Trump supporter trademark insult.
You have railed against articles about Trump’s past. When I reminded you of that, you said “at least I added flashback to mine” as if that would have changed your nashng of teeth over bringing up Trump’s liberal words in interviews and his political contribution record.
This is pretty stupid to even debate about, to be honest. When you start railing in threads posted by Cruzers from Trump circa 33AD, then I'll take your outrage about this thread seriously.
That’s what I responded to. You dismissed the Sessions quote since your article was after the gang of eight. I merely pointed out that the Sessions quote was also after the gang of eight.
Why all the timeline restrictions with Trump supporters?
Essentially, Mexico as it is presently run cannot support its population. There is some evidence that some of the exportees are undesirables. (Criminals, the difficult to employ or keep employed, etc.) The majority however are decent enough people. Many are fleeing poverty, the drug wars, etc. They include many hard workers who send home lots of money. "Win-win" for Mexico.
The railing was for Trump articles from 1999, 2011, 2013 and even one from Jan 2015 was dismissed as ancient history.
The characterization of events from 1999 thru 2015 as “circa 33AD” does not lend itself to being taken seriously, either.
The 2015 showed that Trump’s 1999 opinions were still be expressed in 2015. The premise of it was to challenge the notion that according to his supporters, Trump had changed and the old opinions were no longer valid.
A Trump supporter mindset in full force on FR as well.
You still won't shut up about this? By the way, I wasn't railing. I was simply responding to your outrage about me posting an "old" article. I was merely saying, "if they can do it, so can I." You decided to twist what I wrote just to be a troll.
By the way, that is not true. You're referring to the dishonest Ted Cruz ad that has a video from 1999 showing Trump saying he was pro-choice. Trump is pro-life and has even wrote an editorial about it on the Roe v. Wade anniversary.
Actually, he or one of his staff wrote the editorial on the day AFTER the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, after he started catching flak for not even acknowledging the event.
Yeah, they just put it together on the fly, an intern, in Cruzbot Pharisee la la land.
Considering the editorial did not resemble Trump's way of communicating in any significant way, it is not unreasonable to assume that, like his books, the piece was written by someone else.

Trump writes that he would never pull a Geraldo move, since "I have too much respect for women in general, but if I did, the world would take serious notice. Beautiful, famous, successful, married - I've had them all, secretly, the world's biggest names, but unlike Geraldo I don't talk about it. If I did, this book would sell 10 million copies (maybe it will anyway).

Does Trump letting back in the “good” illegals in an “expedited” process after deportation count as amnesty?
