Why can black people call each other this term over and over, but white people can’t?

Different term. One is "nigger", the other is "nigga", and trust me, its a difference even to them. For a black person to call you a nigger, means they have utterly no respect for you. Nigga is a term of endearment.

My lily white son was explaining the difference to me.

“Ok - whatever. Just don’t go downtown and say ‘Hey Nigga’ to a black guy.”

I’m black, and to me, there is no difference between the two words at all.
If somebody uses the ‘modified’ version, I ask them not to use that anymore when referring to me. It is most certainly not a compliment to me. It’s like being dragged down to slum-dweller levels. Of course, I’m a Old Guy at age 59.

They seriously probably spelled nigga as kneagah. When someone is named Kristin, you probably look for it to be a girl. But it sounds the same and it is a boys name if it is spelled Christian.
