We should demand Trump explain his vetting process for justices and it can’t include “making America great again”, “winning” or “great deals”. It’s time to put up or shut up. This is the whole ball game. Support the candidate who will pick the most conservative justices.
If you think Donald Trump will do the same I gotta bridge to sell ya.
It’s hard not to prefer Cruz about SC nominations.
Ted Cruz 2016...the only TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVE in the race!!!
I don’t want extremely conservative picks on the Supreme Court. I want extremely extreme extremists on the Supreme Court.
Oooga booga.
Trump would almost certainly appoint a bunch of New York libs to the bench.
It’s not just the supreme court that is at stake, it the constitution. Nothing is more important.
This is arguably the most important role for the next POTUS. Anyone thinking Trump will be as reliable on this issue as will be Cruz is deluding themselves.
It will take a Godly President to turn America back to the Godly principles that made America great. Only GOD makes nations great.
Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD.
Earlier I posted another article on this same topic here:
What’s at Stake - The Supreme Court, that’s What !

This alone is why I intend to vote for Cruz on March 1, but I am not optimistic in any situation that will arise.
Best get his ‘birther’ settled before he goes any further...if he doesn’t the Libs will for him....
What exactly does he mean by "willing to spend the capital"?
“So how would Cruz find truly conservative justices? He said he’d look for candidates with “a long paper trail as principled conservative jurists.”
Which if history has proven to our dismay, is no more of a plan than shooting dice.
How else would Regan pick complete flops but GHW Bush pick winners”
We were told that John Roberts was a principled, constitutional originalist. The perfect candidate. How did that work out?
I’m not saying what Cruz says here is wrong - just that using this as some kind of measuring stick for Cruz (or anyone, for that matter) is silly.
With regards to Roberts (and Souter, incidentally), I think it would be helpful to make sure that a pick is not gay.
Just sayin’.
On those issues, I trust Cruz.
This is unfortunately necessary to enable the restoration of the republic.
It’s unlikely to happen. Far more likely is that we continue our intentional slide to third world status.
Cruz is our best shot.
If a Republican is elected, Ginsberg aand Breyer will die in their seats rather than step down and retire.
