Regrouping
JANUARY 22, 2016 ~ CONSISTENTCONSERVATIVES
This is an emergency means for us to keep in touch with our FRiends, who are real Conservatives, in case of purging. Or, if there is no purging, do we really want to continue our discussions in the forum where the owner despises us for not supporting his non-Conservative candidate?
My purpose is to figure out what to do to continue our discussions to advance Conservatism.
They have a right to start another blog and it’s fine imo. What I find hilarious is that they continue to post here while slamming posters who post here. And certain posters, who started the other board, still post here pretending.
It’s interesting, in the junior high way.
Of late, “rude” is defined as disagreeing with Trump.
Indeed it does. A whole lot of someones, who want this to be a place where conservatives can discuss and express their political opinions freely, but ONLY if those opinions are agreeable to those someones. Conservatives here who have opinions they don't like, cannot express them freely.
That is intentionally divisive.
Where you see him as an evil, egotistical, tyrant, I see him as a disciplined, generous, hardworking, intelligent, loyal, patriotic, successful businessman.
His “evidence” is the way he has lived his life. His “evidence” is the people who know him and have worked for him. Where are those people who are critical of him?
How do you think you would stack up if nearly everything you had ever said was written or taped and could be taken out of context?
Thanks
Trumps pretty much flip-flopped back and forth and in between parties.....

Post 260 disproves your post.
In til the end... All this bickering and name calling bores me...
I never said those words you yourself are using.......
I don’t care to bring the words of people who have worked for him here to display....sufficient that they know all to well his heavy handed rants having to tip toe around the man. They aren’t about to share their takes on Trump in ‘his’ books...but there are other books written of Trump where they do express so...and this from his staff members.
It’s not like he hasn’t shown this otherwise.....it’s clear to anyone just from his current behavior the guy does more than play hardball.
Most people who have worked or partnered with Trump know better than to say anything about him .....his favorite “leverage” as he calls it is suing people. We saw that “evidence” very early on in his campaign and he continues to do so today.
The man threatens people...that is his modus operation....and if they don’t bend he threatens those close to them or affiliated with him in order to accomplish the so called “leverage” he wants to use.
Call a bank and tell them the cruise liner he’s using for collateral to get rid of his dept will suddenly be too bad if it sinks....because he wants an extension...and on and on.
He’s a thug as far as I’m concerned.....try reading some of the books written of his life besides those he’s authorized. Heck he even recently threatened a journalist he’d better tread lightly or he’d move on him......that is not what I want to see in a President conducting business for our country and with International leaders.....
No it does not....Did you even read the dates on 260?...look at the years.
I have read books about him as well as books written by him.
You still have not produced any evidence for the things you say.
Should I take your word for it, when you don’t know him, or should I take the word of Sarah Palin and Jerry Falwell Jr who do know him?
It shows he registered as a republican in 1987 and every date has an R beside it.
What is your point?
The gaps in the years....as stated look at the years.
So what if he didn’t vote in some elections. It does not prove your thesis.
He didn’t vote Republican.............for whatever reason you’re not understanding. So now read my post again which accounts for the gaps.
I think it is interesting that Trump was a Democrat from 2001 till 2009
He hasn’t said much lately but he clearly hated GW Bush He blamed GW for the war (no credit for winning with the surge)
He blamed Bush for everything (as all good liberals did) and even blamed him Obamas election.
I see him as an opportunist in the worst possible way ...becoming Republican only when he was enthralled with his own political prospects
If Donald wasn't a registered GOPer, how could he have voted for Reagan, TWICE, which he did, as well as donate to him and know him PERSONALLY ?
He did NOT vote for Obama, not EVER. He originally got very friendly with Palin, when she was on the ticket with McCain, whom he also supported.
DITTO re Romney.
You keep posting lies and then expect to be taken not only seriously, but kow-towed to.
Where am I lying?
Ted Cruz deserves that money more than Jim Rob at FR.
There's very little reason for anyone who supports Cruz to stay. FR's become increasingly toxic.
Most of the mods are old women
You are correct the leftist have infiltrated FR buttered and buddied up to Jim Rob and kissed his @ss to gain his trust and approval as sleeper cells until it was time to finally take full control over FR.
Ted Cruz deserves that money more than Jim Rob at FR.
Jim Rob is Captain Queeg staring Humprey Bogart.
Encourage others there to stop donating to Free Republic in a mass exodus from Free Republic.
jr is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I think they stole the code from DELPHI FORUMS
It is ironic that a website supposedly dedicated to all things conservative will not engage in "filthy capitalism" to fund itself, rather, adopting a PBS model.
The trumpanzees are sub-human in my opinion.
I sense and have been told that Jim Relies on Free Republic for INCOME. I don't know this for a fact but if it is true then Id say he may well see the less than optimum in donations and fear for his future
Withhold any donations them, tell the others to do so also to refuse to send in any money to Free Republic.
I posted a open invitation to the Ted Cruz supporters for a revolt in refusing to send in their donations to Free Republic I am so grateful for this place where I can speak freely-- I cannot do so on FR any longer. It is a totally PHONY "conservative" website
Beck had the balls to stand up to the scum, though, which is sadly more than can be said for Rush and Hannity. only 45.5 percent of 1,050 FReepers name Trump as their first choice.
It is ironic that a website supposedly dedicated to all things conservative will not engage in "filthy capitalism" to fund itself, rather, adopting a PBS model.
JR has gone batty
Make America a Ghetto! Vote D.J Trump!
I saw that photo copy yesterday and was flummoxed because of this from “Smoking Gun”:
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/celebrity/trump-a-republican-for-now-908431
“AUGUST 6, 2015 — “With Donald Trump headlining tonight’s first Republican presidential debate, perhaps the purported billionaire will be asked to explain his fluctuating voter history, which includes him twice dumping the GOP and spending most of the 2000s as a registered Democrat.
As previously detailed in these pages, the 69-year-old Trump has shown little loyalty to the party whose nomination he now appears to be seeking.
New York City Board of Elections records detail Trump’s registration history, which includes stints as an enrolled Republican, Democrat, and Independent. He even spent several months without a party before returning to the Republican fold in April 2012.
Here is a history of Trump’s voter registration since 1987:....”
