We have much bigger problems in the country than Kelo decision.
No Wall on the southern border, Illegals and drugs pouring in.
95 million adults unemployed.
$505,000,000,000 yearly trade deficit with China alone!
Vast hard working Middle class wages deteriorating.
Cost of Healthcare becoming unaffordable.
Middle-east in total chaos.
Iran paid $150 Billion with borrowed money from China.
$21,000,000,000,000 national debt when Obama leaves office.
Good or bad, Kelo is like 0.00000000001% of our problem.
Success comes to those who set proper priorities.
Failure comes to those who are hung up on a small skin pimple , while massive cancer tumors are growing inside.
Ain’t it the truth!
I hear what you’re saying, I just don’t know if I agree.
All are important, no doubt.
My position is that private property rights are FUNDAMENTAL to a truly free nation. Much of what we call America was based on that—regardless of race, religion, or creed.
In fact, many of the very problems YOU cite are, in a very real sense, a violation of private property rights as well as statutory law.
So I think that a SCOTUS ruling that says government can violate that right and give away your private (real estate) property to another private entity is heinous.
Kelo is more than a pimple, it is letting the camel’s nose or neck or head or whole body into the tent.
