I’m not a biblical scholar but I think I remember learning that God sometimes raises up men who were not necessarily saints to be leaders of nations. My vote doesn’t even count. The primary will be all but over before I cast a vote. All we can do is pray and trust in God.

I attribute the difference between the 10-20 IQ point loss estimate and your estimate of 50 as owing to the lobotomies that certain FReepers appear to undergo when they swear allegiance to a certain candidate who can do or say no wrong.

But the abortion issue is extremely important to me and I’m very worried about Trump on this because he said on that tape that he was pro-life and okay with partial birth abortion.
If he felt that way only a few years ago, it makes me wonder.

He can attack Cruz over loans and birtherism and whatever else, but he has a far more questionable history.
I will vote for him if he's the nominee, but, its hard to trust that he's on our side.
I imagine the dems will come after him about this type of thing too. They will give DT a financial colonoscopy on every "deal" he has ever made, and be playing the "1% bullying racist billionaire stomping on the poor" theme, to the hilt.

I believe he probably does love this country and I suspect he is generous but can afford to be and it provides him a good PR for his dealings. However, I also KNOW that he is a confirmed liberal who supports liberals, is a conman, is vile and back-stabbing. Yes, I’m doing my due diligence and I would never vote for him.
Sorry, I am a conservative who has pledged only to vote for and support conservatives. I also dislike phonies and back-stabbers. I have known many from my own dealings and I cannot stand them.
No, I’m going to vote for the conservative that I think has the best chance of winning and who brings over issues that I think are the most important.

I live in Seattle where liberalism is a widespread disease.
I can act like a liberal with the best of them while secretly getting what I aim for.
But my soul belongs to Christ, to the Constitution, to the proposition of inalienable rights from God, to low taxes, to restoration of the middle class, to women who will never despair they carry a baby and will never think of killing their babies, to everyone who is law-abiding packing heat and so on. I even smile at the thought of a blue haired granny pulling out a Glock to an SOB who thinks of messing with her.

And I love Donald Trump.
I love his bully behavior, his lies, his flaws, his vileness and all the rest because I know that is all directed at his enemies. And now I know my enemies will be his enemies.
George Washington was a master liar. His lies won the war, they were awesome lies although they were directed only at enemies of the American nation.
Donald Trump will use every dirty trick ever devised against our enemies. He will make America great again, you can bet on it.
