It was always fun to detect the consternation in a fellow FReeper that didn’t take you as a cook seriously.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. RIP.
Prayers his the family and friends.
He was a blessing to the FReeper community and will be truly missed.
His legacy includes the wisdom, practical knowledge, and example he passed on to so many here, and I am sure elsewhere.

what an interesting man Johnny was...you could tell that thru his posts....
my allure to FR is that somewhere on this forum you'll always find somebody who "knows" stuff....culture, music, food, cooking, gardening, travel,poetry etc...
JR was a man like that ....always could be counted on to provide information on so many subjects....
what will this world do with all our good men dying?...who is to replace them?....we are empty...
