This is the state where using the "jungle primary" system now in place the November election is frequently between two Democrats.
While this is true, the Proposition that made this happen doesn't apply to Presidential and Party Central Committee elections. California will be choosing from all parties with candidates. That's not to say that I would put my life savings on the Republican candidate, whoever he or she may be, but there will be a contest.
