Black Jr., a lobbyist who has worked on numerous Republican presidential campaigns, "what would happen is a lot of the elected leaders and party elders would try to sit down and try to help Cruz run a better campaign, but he may not listen. Trump is another matter."
"You can coach Donald," Mr. Black said.
"Trump won't do long-lasting damage to the G.O.P. coalition," said John Feehery, a Capitol Hill aide turned lobbyist. "Cruz will."

I do NOT think ANYONE on this site is having any trouble deciding between Trump or Cruz!!! We are very informed voters and I do not believe anyone of us are sitting on the fence!!! Lease try not to start threads that start the infighting again!!! I myself would love to see Trump and Cruz on the same ticket!!!

I think you may be on to something. I momentarily got sucked into that populist we gotta go with the one who can win and didn’t want to see the glaring signs from Trump that he does have New York values and they are not mine. Cruz has always been my first choice but I will again hold my nose if I must vote for Trump like I did for Dole, McCain and Romney. Hillary come hell or high water will be the dem nominee even if she is wearing an indictment at the time. So those not willing to vote for Cruz can always vote for her if Trump goes Howard Dean or Ross Perot.
Trump is promising what the Clintons called The Third Way as far back as 1998-99.
Govt and private business working together as partners.
