Now the Feds have gone and done it.
It wasn’t a problem upsetting the ranchers with their extensive Western land holdings and heavy handed methods, but now they’ve upset the cycling crowd! Watch out!!

Around here, the cycling crowd is about the most powerful lobby in the county and are used to getting just about anything they want. A year or two ago, the Colorado Native Plant Society did what they called a "bioblitz" and went over the biggest local mountain biking area (Tabaguache) looking for endangered species. I don't think they found any. If they had, they would have presumably called for the area to be closed. That would have been a true clash of the Titans—the irresistable cycling force against the immovable environmental object.
