"Congress must protect our borders first. Amnesty should be done only if the border is secure and illegal immigration has stopped."
Okay, I’ll try.
Cruz said “Legal Status”, like green cards, not “citizenship”.
Amnesty would turn them into citizens, major difference.
Not thrilled about Cruz’s deal here, it could have backfired. but it did kill the bill.
The gang of 8 was always about Amnesty/citizenship for the Establishment Dems for voters and the Establishment Republicans for cheap labor.
Cruz says “legal status” not amnesty/citizenship.
There is the difference.
OK I get it now you aren’t Gruber stupid.
Even though it’s been explained to you over and over Ted was introducing a poison pill you’re still too ignorant to understand it.
Thank you for clarifying that.
You admit you’re simply too ignorant to know you are lying instead of knowing you’re lying and too stupid to care.
Trump is the ONLY candidate who has called for the deportation of ALL illegals.
Trump took the 2016 race by storm when he was the FIRST to call for a wall, to stop Mexico (and other countries) from sending their criminals...who are allowed to freely enter the U.S.
If not for Trump, we would not even be discussing deportation, not to mention illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, stopping immigrants from terrorist nations, etc.
Dig dirt all you want, we’re fighting for the last breath of our free country...and Trump is leading that fight.
“Even though it’s been explained to you over and over Ted was introducing a poison pill you’re still too ignorant to understand it.”
That explanation is a lie. Cruz would not go before the public and act out a strategy. Cruz accused Obama of introducing a poison pill into the Gang of Eight bill.
For the sake of argument, if he were introducing a poison pill, Cruz is the liar. Big time. Convincingly. What is he convincingly lying about now?
However, if you read it carefully, he is not introducing a poison pill bill. This video was made AFTER his supposed poison pill amendments failed. This was Cruz’s real thinking on the topic.
How dare you use Trumps own words against him? All the trump zealots will burn your house down for that.
A green card is legalization, and do you really think that millions of people given permanent green cards would never be given citizenship?
I admit that I wasn’t happy about that, but green cards and amnesty are 2 different things.
Personally, I am not thrilled with illegals getting green cards at all, and I darn sure don’t want amnesty.
You are no longer too ignorant to know you are lying now you know you are lying and just too stupid to care.
Gruber stupid.
Cruz says “legal status” not amnesty/citizenship.
There is the difference.
AKA “Second class citizens.” Dems are licking their chops at the GOP being dumb enough to do that.
“AKA âSecond class citizens.â Dems are licking their chops at the GOP being dumb enough to do that”
Correct, the GOP has been.
I hope they all wise up.
This is my challenge to you, prick, cite the lie, then explain how it is a lie. Calling me a liar is not an explanation, in case you are too freaking stupid to figure that out.
It’s been explained over and over even by Rush Limbaugh.
It was a poison pill.
You are lying Gruber.
I looked over your forum page. You are one more mental case.
Jane, the deportation plan includes an expedited return. This is a article re: a quote from his son, Eric Trump.
“The idea was considered so reasonable that in an April 22, 2007, editorial entitled “Progress on Immigration,” The New York Times declared:
It’s not ideal, but if a touchback provision is manageable and reassures people that illegal immigrants are indeed going to the back of the line, then it will be defensible.
So what Trump is proposing today-sending illegal immigrants back to their home countries and then allowing the “good ones” to return in an “expedited” fashion-was endorsed by the liberal New York Times!
In fact, the idea even got the support of-wait for it-illegal immigrants.
In 2007, the Los Angeles Times did the first telephone poll of illegal immigrants and asked whether they would go home under a “touchback” law that allowed them to return with legal status. Sixty-three percent said yes, 27 percent said no and 10 percent were undecided. If they were promised a path to citizenship when they returned, the number who said they would leave and return legally grew to 85 percent.
Donald Trump’s detractors were aghast at his invocation during the Fox Business debate of President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s “Operation Wetback,” which forcibly removed 1.5 million illegal immigrants, and his promise the following day to establish a “deportation force” to remove the 11 million illegal immigrants living in America today.
Never mind the fact that we already have a “deportation force”-it’s called U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The fact is, Trump won’t need a “deportation force” or an “Operation Wetback” to get illegal immigrants to go home-because he has promised that they can return quickly with legal status.
The vast majority of illegal immigrants say they would voluntarily cooperate with Trump’s plan.” (279 words)

Not trying to start a fight, just showing that his plan would (again)expedite their return.
Take care.........pilgrim
(Yup. New TV season. Act II ... or is it III, IV, V, etc?)
Trump still supports amnesty.
Most Americans' opinions were suddenly and deeply changed by 9/11. Recently, most Americans' opinions were suddenly and deeply changed by the massacres in Paris and San Bernardino. Trump's opinion had changed well before then, as a matter of record. But your post implies that a presidential candidate may never change his opinion in response to new information. Yet, if a president does not respond quickly to new information, he is held to blame.
The above is what we called in math class, or on the SATs, a "word problem." Sort it out.
