A green card is legalization, and do you really think that millions of people given permanent green cards would never be given citizenship?
I admit that I wasn’t happy about that, but green cards and amnesty are 2 different things.
Personally, I am not thrilled with illegals getting green cards at all, and I darn sure don’t want amnesty.
