Sarah Palin Defends Donald Trump Against Ted Cruz's 'New York' Attacks at Massive Rally in Tulsa

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump and his ally Sarah Palin galvanized an overflow crowd estimated at over 15,000 in Tulsa, Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon.
Palin took some not-so-subtle jabs at Sen. Ted Cruz and other Republicans for criticizing Trump's New York background, while Trump said that Hillary Clinton might end up "in the clink."
Palin called Trump "a redhead from the big red Apple" and turned her attention to Republicans attacking their own frontrunner. "They're saying we're not red enough, we're not conservative enough. And I say, what the heck do they know about conservatism?"
Her jabs at Cruz, without mentioning him by name, were clear.

What does that have to do with conservatism? Jon Corzine, Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates, George Soros, and a host of others meet those qualifications and still be flaming liberals. Success as an executive or in business does not necessarily make you a conservative.
------------------------
You think ideology will substitute executive experience? Ideology will not allow Cruz to be a good executive just because he is conservative on issues. Same applies to liberals. I don't think Corzine was an executive - he was a financier - not the same thing. Bill gates and Bloomberg are executives and like them or not they are successful in business and in Bloomberg's case, he ran New York City well.
It is up to people who advocate for Cruz to tell us what makes him qualified to run a country? He is a very qualified lawyer and I can see him in the Senate passing laws. Cruz can write laws up - which is not the same thing as running a large country.

Funny, I thought that was Ronald Reagan and Reagan legalized abortion before Roe V Wade as Cali gov.
Yes he did, and regretted it once it became clear that the law he signed was being abused to push abortion for every reason and not just the life of the mother as he expected the law to do.
So Reagan can have a change of mind but not Trump? Double standard much? By Cruz backer standards Reagan would be a RINO.

There is no doubt that if tolerance of some early abortions is a deal-breaker for you, you should not vote for Trump.
Thanks, I won't.
I don't vote for politicians who support the murder of unborn babies period.
It's a principle of mine.

You think ideology will substitute executive experience? My comment dealt with Sarah's comment which was about the candidates' ideology. You are the one who is inserting experience in the discussion, not me, not Sarah. Would I rather have someone with right ideology and no executive experience or someone with the wrong ideology and great executive experience? The former without question. The last thing that you should want if you are a conservative is a person with a liberal ideology and great executive skills.
Are you really praising Michael Bloomberg? He is precisely the kind of politician conservatives have been battling against.

By the standards of some of the loudest Cruz backers on FR, Cruz himself is liberal scum.

I disagree and here's why. Over the weekend I was told by many Trump supporters on this forum that the behavior of Trump's children was a direct result of the spectacular job that Donald did raising them.
If that is true, is not the reverse true as well?
No. Sarah Palin is not running for office, Donald Trump is. And if elected, Trump's family will certainly be under the microscope as part of the First Family, and they are being scrutinized right now.
Sarah Palin is on the campaign trail not seeking votes for herself, not seeking elective office, she is supporting Donald Trump, nothing more and nothing less, and that is why her children and family should not be subjected to your kinds of smears. If she is selected as Trump's VP, then it will (to the delight of Palin-haters) be open season.
Until then? I'd advise you to shut your yap about it.

Smears? Bristol has 2 kids at last count, not married. Track was arrested for domestic violence and being drunk with a firearm. He’s lucky no one was killed.
Those are facts. Not smears.

Outside of the health nut stuff he was in which I could do without he kept crime low, he made NY a business friendly place allowing it to become a tech friendly place - not easy with so much old infrastructure.
You may not like his stance on smoking or guns but he is pretty fiscally conservative and capitalist oriented. He did the job well. And I will emphasize again - crime went down lower than under Rudy under Bloomberg - who monitored Muslims and aggressively went after ghetto criminals.

Reg families have problems but generally speaking those who attend Bible believing Churches, the mothers dont talk about kicking A$$ and having balls or joining with a non Christian to attack a wonderful Christian in Ted Cruz
Palin has back slid from her faith, how many years ago I dont know.
Not that one must attend Church to be a Christian, but boy has she backslid.
The Bible says antichrist will not be revealed until After the Rapture, we do not know the date of any of this, but it`s possible that antichrist is here and the time could be close.
He will deceive many, so its possible he might say something like he is going to “save Christianity”
not saying Trump is the antichrist, just saying who knows
