You think ideology will substitute executive experience? Ideology will not allow Cruz to be a good executive just because he is conservative on issues. Same applies to liberals. I don't think Corzine was an executive - he was a financier - not the same thing. Bill gates and Bloomberg are executives and like them or not they are successful in business and in Bloomberg's case, he ran New York City well.
It is up to people who advocate for Cruz to tell us what makes him qualified to run a country? He is a very qualified lawyer and I can see him in the Senate passing laws. Cruz can write laws up - which is not the same thing as running a large country.
My comment dealt with Sarah's comment which was about the candidates' ideology. You are the one who is inserting experience in the discussion, not me, not Sarah. Would I rather have someone with right ideology and no executive experience or someone with the wrong ideology and great executive experience? The former without question. The last thing that you should want if you are a conservative is a person with a liberal ideology and great executive skills.
Are you really praising Michael Bloomberg? He is precisely the kind of politician conservatives have been battling against.
