Here’s the problem with your premise. It’s not that we do not get it. We get it. And speaking for myself, I don’t care. I’ll go my grave knowing that I didn’t support an enabler of baby-killing politicians like Trump. If that’s the Republic you’re interested in saving then you can have it. I’m not going to sell out the unborn babies of this country for vague promises of ensuring border security, job creation, and armchair general wet dreams of dealing with the 1,400 year old war against Islam. This is nothing more than the politics of saving one’s own ass at the expense of moral principle.

We all know that the election of a President has become an undercard bout. That the real power is in the judicial oligarchy that rules over all of us and that the value of a President rests on his Supreme Court nominations. Neither a Cruz or a Trump supporter can dispute that. Is it what was intended? No. But that’s where we find ourselves in the 21st century.

Now, Trump supporters have no basis by which they can assure that he will appoint the kind of justices that will reverse this holocaust. We simply don’t believe you, or Trump for that matter. And if supporting Cruz means Hillary, Bernie or Joe gets in then so be it. America deserves what it gets. And means it hasn’t fallen far enough to do what is necessary to right the ship.

The geriatric fear mongers around here have gone all in on 2016 as the pivotal moment in an existential crisis. They are terrified because their longevity to 2020 or 2024 is in doubt. And because of that they have sold conservatism down the river in their hysteria for this moment.

With that statement, you just contradicted your previous remarks and defeated your own argument.

BTW, in case you have forgotten - the President nominates his picks for the SCOTUS - The Congress chooses whether to give tat nominee the green light. Considering the animosity that this Congress holds for Senator Cruz, do you honestly believe their members will give assent to any qualified conservative individual Cruz nominates?

America is the most pro-life it has ever been in a long time. We have elected pro-life majorities to both Houses of Congress - and STILL we cannot put an end to the genocide that is abortion - even after the revelations of PP selling baby body parts, etc.

If you are truly committed to the cause, then I appeal to you to act as I have - refuse to pay income taxes, refuse to file a federal return ... and if your state’s governor has dared to recognize sodomite “unions” - as has my own - the likewise refuse to file a state tax return. Do not preach to me about abortion until you put your money where your mouth is. As long as you and others in the pro-life / pro-marriage movements continue to willingly feed the beast you have no credibility.

I’ve put everything I have on the line for this fight - my livelihood, my property, my reputation, and my freedom ... I am fully prepared to have all confiscated, to go to jail for my beliefs ... Are you?

Are you serious?

You are soooo wrong to stereotype those of us who are concerned about the future of the country...Our longevity? Huh? Fear Mongering? Do you read Drudge Report? Even the headlines cause concern.

Do you have children? If you do, then you should realize that most parents are not concerned for their longevity (regardless of their age)...but are concerned for THEIR CHILDREN...

If you are not afraid for the future of the country, you should be....and you’d better get a clue. The country is in serious trouble and many of us doubt whether we can survive 8 more years of this administration’s policies. These poliies include some of your concerns including abortion and supreme court nominations BTW.

Many of us who support Trump will vote for Cruz if he is the nominee. A few weeks ago, many here were touting a Cruz/Trump or Trump/Cruz ticket. Rhetoric has gotten so caustic, I wonder now things will shake out.

With all due respect, regarding your rhetoric, you might really consider dialing it down because either Trump or Cruz would be better than Hillary. Hopefully, one of the two of them will be our next President...and yes I believe there is an existential crisis if that does not happen.

BTW, there are few people that are more pro-life or have been in the fight longer than Phyllis Schlafly, and she is supporting Trump, so perhaps you might consider that the next time you go on a rant against Trump.

“I will go my grave knowing that I did not support an enabler of baby-killing politicians like Trump.”

So Cruz wins the nomination. You’ll go to your grave knowing you supported the baby-killing president Clinton or Sanders. Well, good for you!
