Yes Trump is keeping this in the news but here’s my question. If Ted argued before the Supreme Court, if he’s the smartest guy in the room, why is everyone else talking about this but him. He could dominate the conversation with established law and precedent but he’s stayed relatively quiet.

Could just be advisors telling him not to humor Trump but its something I wonder about.

A couple of years ago, 2010? 2011? he said he was not eligible. Then this year he insists he is. He isn’t the smartest guy in the room. It’s all hype. He’s won 5 cases and lost 4 in the Supreme Court. How about if a quarterback won 5 games and lost 4, would he be considered a Tom Brady?

You’re using your head and thinking. Good! Something a lot of people here are not doing. They just take Cruz’s word for it and think it’s the gospel truth.

Look up E. Vattel, Swiss authority on International law. He published The Law of Nations in 1758. John Jay, the future First Chief Justice of the Supreme Court sent a letter to George Washingtin, Chair of the constitutional Committee, advising the use of th term Natural Born Citizen as is found in Vattel. There is a tremendous amount of evidence that the Founders nd Framers were extremely familiar with Vattel’s work. Originally publishd in French, it was translated into English very quickly. You can find info. under Law of Nations as well as Vattel on the net.
