I agree with you. The problem is I always go into a discussion wanting to have a conversation. I have an historical background and I can share a lot. I understand our Founders and am writing a book about liberty. Being on this forum is like being in a room with people who do not know how to have a conversation but just like to hear themselves shout, thinking that, like Eleanor Clift, if they just shout louder they are making their point. All you end up with is cacophony. It really is too bad because no one is listening.

And they personally attack the poster and it is allowed to continue. That is why some have left and others considering leaving, looking for a place for conservatives to converse with rules controlling the speech of posters. I have been a member here 16 years and prefer not to leave.
