I would ask that ALL Cruz supporters stick to the facts they have to rebut the narrative presented here. If you attack the sources or the poster, I will assume that you have no valid argument against the contentions here. If you attempt to change the topic, I will take that as affirmation of these very serious accusations.
Yes, by all means, let’s talk facts. Who is the co-Chair of the Miss. effort for Cruz? Why it’s State Senator Chris McDaniel.. evidently he doesn’t feel the way the other posters in this thread feel about Cruz.
https://www.tedcruz.org/news/cruz-for-president-announces-mississippi-leadership-team/
Quote from McDaniel himself “âTed Cruzâs values are Mississippiâs values, and Mississippi is essential to the 2016 primary election process. I understand what it means to be a strong, principled leader who will fight even when it is not easy to do so. Ted Cruz is that kind of man,â said State Sen. Chris McDaniel. âThat is why I am so incredibly excited to serve as a Mississippi Co-Chair for the Cruz campaign. I look forward to spreading Sen. Cruzâs conservative message and helping elect him to be our next President.â
None of us are privy to all the facts about what transpired. We know McConnell lied to Cruz about a great many things.
You're rightly concerned to avoid the fallacy of ad hominem in the discussion you don't seem at all concerned about the fallacy of guilt by association the narrative itself relies on.
Sure. CT cites a Gateway Pundit article from 2014 that points the finger at Governor Haley Barbour and his PAC for the Mississippi ads and that they received money from the NRSC. Which is further alleged by Got News and Red State which explicitly states that the NRSC may have been involved based on money from the NRSC to the PAC. However, there is no corroboration. This is a case of correlation and not causation. It basically comes down to, "NRSC may have been responsible for the MS ad buys that supported Cochran on black-owned radio stations because the PAC begain airing those ads around the same time they received money from the NRSC."
Trump offered to put up his own money to stop the victory mosque triumphal Islamics planned near Ground Zero. Trump offered a princely sum for property worth much less. Trump was lacerated for his troubles.
Open border parasite, and alleged conservative, GROVER NORQUIST and his friends, distributed a letter lacerating Republicans....warning the GOP to drop its opposition.
Wholeheartedly defending Islamics, the Norquist cabal said the GOP was infringing upon religious freedom and alienating millions of Arab/Muslim American voters who believe in (gag) individual liberty, traditional values, and the rule of law (no mention of Christian beheadings and shooting up Christian co-workers).
Ted Cruz signed on w/ Norquist. (hat tip Aunt B)

UPDATE In 2010 the city stepped in and declared the mosque site an official landmark.....thus curtailing any building plans.
See post #9 - you've been owned.
I guess you mean, it is not the the nature of the evidence, it is the seriousness of the charge ..., right?
From the article ......
Senator Ted Cruz never once campaigned for a conservative in the 2014 mid-term races, nor did he ever discuss the absence of a federal budget once Republicans were in control of both the House and the Senate.
Senator Ted Cruz took himself out of the NRSC 'management' [Ted Cruz steps back from leadership role in GOP campaign group], in order to be a "nice guy" to his fellow Senators (remember ALSO: this is what Trump accuses him of NOT doing and is a BAD thing). McConnell, et al were furious with Cruz for supporting TEA PARTY candidates in the primaries and in fund raising letters, so he backed off ... COMPLETELY.
TED CRUZ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MISSISSIPPI AND SUNDANCE IS AN A**HOLE FOR SUGGESTING IT.
So what is it Trump? Is Ted Cruz a bad guy for not getting along with the GOP Senate, or a bad guy because he secretly does?! You are very confused.
Why don't we just go straight to Chris McDaniel and ask him how he feels about Senator Ted Cruz?
In my humble opinion, it is crap like this that has this FR all-out war happening. Conservatives will not put up with this without objection.

Damn, you continue to intimidate; how will I ever sleep at night if I were to defend Ted Cruz in this case (which I will not)? I only wish that the people who worship at the altar of Donald Trump were half as honest in examining his prior “lapses in judgment” [emphasis added].
Ok how about how it state’s that when Cruz arrived in Washington, the establishment talked to him and offered him, his pick of committee positions. Then McConnell suggested he join the NRSC, and Cruz in his own words joined to get fellow conservatives elected. He also states in his book, that He went to one meeting where he realised the intention of everyone was to keep incumbents in, and when they had to support an outsider it would be someone who wouldn’t upset the Apple cart. As a result he decided that this wasn’t a committee he wanted to be activly participating in, so he stopped.
