Senator Ted Cruz seems to express disgust and outrage against the tactics deployed by what he calls the âDC Machineâ. Cruz states that their conduct in the Mississippi runoff was "incredibly disappointing" etc.
However, we now know - from specific documentation provided by internal research into the activity around the Mississippi campaign - that the National Republican Senatorial Campaign, the NRSC, was the financier for the attack ads against Chris McDaniel.
So who is the "DC Machine", this "leadership of the NRSC", that Senator Ted Cruz is so incredibly disappointed in?
Whoopsie - Yes it would appear that Ted Cruz is incredibly disappointed in ?
Nuf said.
A filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) shows that the NRSC paid National Media Research, Planning & Placement of Alexandria, Virginia $13,000 for media production and $69,000 for the attack ads.

I would ask that ALL Cruz supporters stick to the facts they have to rebut the narrative presented here. If you attack the sources or the poster, I will assume that you have no valid argument against the contentions here. If you attempt to change the topic, I will take that as affirmation of these very serious accusations.
Ted Cruz signed on w/ Norquist.
Well...THAT is interesting
For a long long time, I kept having this feeling about Cruz that there was something wrong there and I couldn't put my finger on it. And I wanted to figure it out because he professed to be such a serious Christian.
So I just kept reading and thinking and watching. Then I finally realized. For all these principled stands and fights he made, they were one-man shows. They were resume bots. And then, I realized this MS thing was just his way of doing business, stay out of it until the dust clears and the blows have stopped, then ride in like the hero, in the case of MS go on Levin's show and call for an investigation.
Number 51...very well stated. Bravo.
Yes it’s hard to watch...the Dems don’t seem to eat their own like the GOP...it’s Primary Season and like watching a snake try to swallow an elephant
What about his pro abortion, pro amnesty, pro progressive taxes, pro Canadian health care, pro DiBlasio views......he's allowed to be absolved for all of this but Ted gets the rack because, like all sitting Senators, didn't get involved in one race in Mississippi?
You want to poke at Ted for Hb1 or attempt to paint him as pro-amnesty like Rubio is trying, that's fair game.
But between the two, one considered himself a liberal NYer and one has always been a Constitutional Conservative.
Sure people can change views, but how and why is very different from simply seeing the light.

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander. You could even start us off here with a good example grania.
Actually, this is a pretty good indication of how Cruz operates. He fails to stand for McDaniel in the heat of the battle, he goes on Hannity and tells him he won't be getting involved in any races involving incumbents. Remember McConnell on Tea Party, we're going to crush them everywhere? Then he goes on Levin and with righteous indignation that MS needs to be investigated.
The involvement of the NRSC in Mississippi is verified, and in September 2014 Cruz gives 250K to the NRSC.
you explain that. You can't be honest with yourself and says it's fine. I do agree he's one heck of a lawyer.

Cruz is a self-centered, ambitious phony and a hack.
He has no character and is no conservative like Iâve ever known.
Damn, you continue to intimidate; how will I ever sleep at night if I were to defend Ted Cruz in this case (which I will not)? I only wish that the people who worship at the altar of Donald Trump were half as honest in examining his prior “lapses in judgment” [emphasis added].
Do you lack a fundamental awareness about the two ways your post could be interpreted and who it really describes?
BTTT!!!
Thanks. I’ll check this out.
State Senator Chris McDaniel is the director of the Cruz campaign in Mississippi. I do not give any money to the RNSC, It is unforgivable that the RNSC would be involved in a Republican primary race regardless of whether or not an incumbent was involved. I understand Senator Cruz had made a commitment and honored it. I am a resident of Mississippi, I did and still support Senator McDaniel as I Support Senator Cruz. Senator Cruz is absolutely the best, if not the only true Conservative, in the race. He is solid on the issues and Conservative principles.
Ok how about how it state’s that when Cruz arrived in Washington, the establishment talked to him and offered him, his pick of committee positions. Then McConnell suggested he join the NRSC, and Cruz in his own words joined to get fellow conservatives elected. He also states in his book, that He went to one meeting where he realised the intention of everyone was to keep incumbents in, and when they had to support an outsider it would be someone who wouldn’t upset the Apple cart. As a result he decided that this wasn’t a committee he wanted to be activly participating in, so he stopped.
I’m with cripplecreek when he says that Trump’s propaganda sites don’t warrant the interest of thinking individuals.
What you say about the standards around here is true, SOTC. About the most vile thing I’ve seen came yesterday, when some Trumpbots were making mocking Heidi Cruz for her issues with depression, wanting to know if she was “still in the street.”
That kind of garbage is right on a level with the worst of DU, so the demands of Trumpbots to “stick to the facts” carries little weight with me.
"Please correct me if I'm wrong Lady Cat, but is not this FACT the primary reason for your opposition to the desired "reign" of Emperor Trump?"
Well, if I had no other reasons to reject Trump, that single one would be sufficient. As it is, it's just one more in a loooooooonnnnnngggggggg line.
“Whoopsieâ¦â¦ Yes it would appear that Ted Cruz is incredibly disappointed inâ¦. himself.”

The NRSC, along with it’s house counterpart the NRCC, is corrupt. There is no other way to put it. I’m still waiting for Ted to condemn their current scam of stealing campaign money from Trump supporters, as he takes hundreds of thousands of dollars from them.
Here’s how it works. You see a NRSC prez poll on Facebook and vote for Trump and get on their mail list. Soon you are swamped with email selling Trump gear, stickers, tshirts, you name it. NOT ONE CENT ever goes to the Trump Campaign. This is where it goes:
From open secrets, donations to Cruz: 2. Senate Conservatives Fund $315,991
Here is the FB poll: https://yourvoice.nrsc.org/landing/presidential-poll/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=20160104_nrsc-lb-votetrumprubiocruz_facebook&utm_content=nrsc&utm_term=83920800
This is the National Republican Senatorial Committee and they are CONNING you to hurt the Trump campaign!
They have been doing this for months and it’s cost the Trup campaign likely millions. http://towncriernews.blogspot.com/2015/09/more-gop-fundraising-on-trump-name-now.html
