I never thought she had native rhetorical skills. She talks like a five year old.
Never have I ever said anything about Sarah Palin ever because I thought she was a conservative but I’ll say it now she has a low IQ.
Yeah, right.
Not familiar with the IQ connection to rhetorical skills — let alone native rhetorical skills.
Really?
I have always admired Palin's common sense. And when she puts out a statement or a position paper, I almost always find myself in strong agreement with her. But I agree with you to the extent that I do not see her as first class speech maker in the same league as Reagan or (shudder) Obama.
Actually during 2008 election someone analyzed the speech of the 4 candidates - Obama, Biden, McCain, Palin. The result was that Sarah spoke at the highest grade level of the 4.
I also remember her knock em dead convention speech that stunned everyone with how great it was. During the speech her teleprompter died and she just kept going...ad libbing and no one knew this until after it was over. Obama can’t even start a speech without TOTUS.
Sarah does not have a low IQ.
I very much doubt she has a “low IQ”.
People can be very bright in some areas and average in others. It is very dangerous to assume too much without knowing the person well.
“Iâll say it now she has a low IQ.”
You should know.
Never have I ever said anything about Sarah Palin ever because I thought she was a conservative I'll say it now she has a low IQ.But of course if she had endorsed Cruz she would be the most intelligent conservative woman to ever walk the earth.
Hypocrite.
If you think she has a low IQ then you either watch to much Tina Fey or you are no as smart as you think
You sound like an elitist snob. Mother wit and wisdom beats know-it-all book sense every time.
Honesty and common sense will beat your Ivy League gravitas when the votes are counted.
“I never thought she had</ native rhetorical skills. She talks like a five year old.”
I agree with both somewhat. She has a native charm, and can turn a phrase in a folksy way while making a sensible point. At times though here sentences can run on and end in a kink of word salad, as parodied by Fey. That can be charming in a way too.
I have a couple of dopey uninformed neighbors who think she has a low IQ. I have asked them if they read her book. The answer has consistently been “no.” Apparently their IQ isn’t at a reading skill level.
You say that like it's a bad thing....
Expecting someone to speak in complete, coherent sentences -- much less complete, coherent paragraps -- is just so elitist of you. See, to be successful now, you have to prove that you're one of the "common people" by not using too many big words, or expressing too many big ideas. Much better if you just emote, and relate purely on that level.
I never thought that's what our side was supposed to be like, but apparently, it is now.
You are just regurgitating talking points spoon-fed to you by the GOPe and other elite. Please tell us why you think Sarah has a “low IQ”. Is it because she did not go to Harvard or Yale?
There is a category of people who are “Idiots who don’t know they are idiots.” See if you are smart enough to apply the following.

Sarah Palin talks like a 5 year old and has a low IQ????? Better get a checkup for PDS?????
The point is to not confuse a speech as a sign of intelligence. Rhetoric is speaking to be understood, not speaking to impress with fancy words. Palin uses tempo and rhyme to get the low IQ audience to follow along, not because she is low IQ.

Couldn't agree more. I listened to the first couple of minutes of her endorsement speech last night and it sounded to some brain-dead valley girl...
talk about a low I. Q. look in the mirror (sic).
