John was almost universally hated.
Do you remember how the campaign went after she was selected?
She became the spokesperson for the ticket. He would sit there and watch. Why do you think he did that?
It was because he thought he was going to wind up with 20% too.
No, she didn’t get them the win, but she did get them a ton more respectability.
That is a victory too.
