Windy, did you really just call someone standing on principle ‘Anti-American”? Please tell me I read that wrong.

Rightly, good FReeper Windflier copped to it and apologized very quickly -- shortsighted as I believe Windflier is being now, he is the same classy guy he's always been.

UNLIKE the candidate he supports.

Norm, you know I wasn't questioning the poster's patriotism.

What I objected to (and thought was anti-American) was his summary dismissal and rejection of one of this nation's finest people, Sarah Palin - someone who he apparently liked well enough that he was on the Palin ping list.

It's because of who she is, that I considered his dismissal to be "anti-American" - not the poster himself, who, by the way, wasn't standing on any principle at all, far as I could tell. From what I saw, his ire was raised, merely because Sarah endorsed Trump instead of Cruz.

I don't see how torching her in public like that is a principled thing to do.

For the record, I also apologized to the poster in the next breath. I realize that what I said came off a bit harsh. No need for that from me, or anyone else.
