Cruz spokesman: I’d be “deeply disappointed†if Sarah Palin endorses a progressive like Trump

This makes me think it is Palin who's going to endorse Trump today and that Team Cruz knows it. Otherwise Rick Tyler would have answered this question differently, in spokesman-ese. You know how it goes: "Oh, listen, I'm not going to speculate about who's endorsing who. Ted Cruz admires Governor Palin, she and Ted Cruz have been allies since he joined the Senate, but endorsements aren't going to win this race. Iowans are going to decide based on who has the better record standing up to the Washington cartel and that's obviously Senator Cruz." He doesn't say that. What he's doing here is a sort of "prebuttal" -- surely, surely, an icon of populist conservatism like Sarah Palin isn't about to throw in with the biggest RINO in the race, a guy who was busy praising Barack Obama in the media on the very day that the tea party was born. If her endorsement's still in play for Cruz, why would Tyler antagonize her by saying backing Trump would be a blow to her credibility instead of saying something flattering instead? He must know something.
Leon Wolf's own "prebuttal" is less diplomatic than Tyler's:

I don’t know how old you are or education level or culture etc
“Donald Trump OUTRIGHT LIES to people about Ted Cruz in order to “win” them to his side.
And you have the gumption to call Cruz “creepy” and arrogant.
Disgusting and shameful.”
Calling me “Disgusting and shameful” and you have gall to ask me what is nastiness.
To: Finny; All
You speak of bluster and hot air, when the greatest demonstration of such behavior takes place in your own bathroom mirror.
You rant and rave and carry on, as if you think that your faux intellectual prowess is going to convince someone to “come around” to your view of the world, to your perspective?
That is nothing but the prime symptom of an egotistical horse’s ass, and here on FR, you’ve got that franchise covered.
But I give you a pass on it, because you are clearly so terrified that Donald Trump becomes more likely by the hour to be not only the nominee of the Republican Party, but the next President of the United States.
I’ll bet you’re crapping your pants at that prospect.
Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s real. It’s serious.
It’s YOU.
Go preach to your fellow Trump-haters, for the rest of us, whatever it is you’re selling, it is *NO SALE*.
Adios chump.

You're right....Bristol has no credibility....it's pretty stunning she obviously thinks otherwise.....Bristol's mouth and lifestyle has in many ways harmed Sarah's once popularity....she needs to zip it, remain out of the public eye and get her own life back on track......

It is disgusting and shameful to support an outright liar. Maybe you think it's "nasty" of me to point it out, but ... really?
Would you teach your children or grandchildren any differently as to how to handle outright liars?
Look, Jenny, the TRUTH is that Donald Trump blatantly lied and there is ample evidence to PROVE that he blatantly lied. He said, and I quote: "Now Ted just switched his views on ethanol. He was totally against ethanol, now all the sudden he's for it, you know, it's Iowa and he's for it."
That wasn't a nuanced lie, it wasn't a "maybe" lie, it wasn't an implied lie, it was an OVERT BLATANT LIE. Cruz has maintained the same position on ethanol for years, and YOU SHOULD KNOKW THIS if you're going to NOT be a low-information voter.
Trump's outright brazen lie was exactly like saying, "Bill owns a red Volkswagen so I know it was him the cops saw," when the person saying it knows that Bill only owns a blue Ford.
My age, education, and "culture" have ZIP to do with liars, lying, false accusations, and "nastiness."
Surprise me and honor yourself, jenny. Stand up and face down the truth.

So will Cruz: I love @SarahPalinUSA Without her support, I wouldn’t be in the Senate. Regardless of what she does in 2016, I will always be a big fan.

But if Bristol Palin had said such things about Donald Trump, you two steaming piles of hypocrisy would be hailing her as "chip off the old Mom", "getting her act together" "high fives for Bristol", ad nauseum.
You two squeaking parrots aren't fooling anyone.

Nastiness is horrible, and these cruz supporters calls themselves Value voters.

Insulting people is your stock in trade, as has already been effectively established in this thread.
Now go pound sand. If FR had a kiddie table, you could go play there, why not ask the mods about it>

All this Trump vs Cruz stuff on FR is ridiculous, but then, candidate selection on FR has pretty much always gotten nasty here. I can't imagine how any of you think calling each other names will win over people to your candidate. Few of you are that silly, so what we're seeing is simply frustrated temper tantrums.
Here is an aspect of Trump support that I think a number of the FR Trump-haters are overlooking: whether Trump is a perfect conservative is immaterial. What he is, without doubt, is a huge monkey wrench in the entrenched system. There is no doubt that Trump has espoused some left-wing ideas in the past and may hold to some of those in the present - that is not even in question. However, any conservative with eyes to see and ears to hear must realize that this country has crossed a line that nobody even 20 years ago could have believed would be crossed. We now have the USSC declaring gay marriage a Constitutional right, we have a muslin-sympathizing, probably homosexual president who obviously despises everything the US has ever stood for, and we have nearly half the population on some kind of government assistance, many of them not even legal residents, let alone citizens.
The Republicans have done nothing in years if not decades to stop the movement of the country leftward. In fact, it is not unreasonable to surmise that the Republicans are every bit as contemptuous or dismissive of American values and Constitutional principles as Democrats are. This has been demonstrated plainly in their actions while they talk boldly about conservative values.
We are not going to get a true conservative American man in the White House until after the revolution because no such man survives the party vetting process.
Enter Donald Trump. By all appearances, he is a bull in the establishment china shop. Simply by running he has already shaken the establishment and one of the major pillars of their power: political correctness. Imagine the destruction of this putrid, vile establishment structure he could accomplish in four or even eight years in office. The thought is glorious to any conservative who has had to watch his noble country become a circus parade of queers and criminals.
It is said that we get the government we deserve. Well, if that is the case, then I would say we aren't going to get a strong, noble man of both principle and decorum in the White House any time soon because, frankly, we don't deserve one. A street fighter who will advance at least some of our cause and disrupt or destroy a portion of theirs is the best we can hope for.We didn't prevent the corruption when it would have been easy, done with a simple vote, and so now we have to slog through the muck and mire, covered in filth, until we fix this for the next generation or, failing that, we'll have to wade through blood to get there.

Amntn, do what I asked. Don't link to another FR thread, or if you DO link to another FR thread, also CUT AND PASTE THE LIES YOU CLAIM CRUZ UTTERED.
It is quite simple for me to provide verbatim the EXACT WORDS Trump uttered about Cruz that constituted a bold-faced blatant lie, and I can (and have -- see my posts in forum) linked the taped interview so you can see and hear Trump saying them, to remove all doubt.
If Cruz lied the same way Trump lied, then it should be just as easy for you to:
a) quote the exact words
b) link a credible written/audio/visual source to confirm that indeed he said/wrote those words.
Otherwise, all you present is an unsubstantiated opinion. My contention that Trump lied isn't an opinion, it is a FACT that can and has been proven repeatedly.

I don’t think Bristol Palin thinks she has “clout”. I think she is a member of a very frontier family who stcks up for each other no matter what.
The Palins are wild and wooly, but I believe they love each other.
