Oh My: Palin to Endorse Trump in Iowa Today?
TownHall ^ | 19 Jan 2016 | Guy Benson |

I'll admit it -- when this speculation began mounting yesterday, I wasn't remotely sold on the idea that Palin was poised jump aboard the Trump Train when so many influential figures within the conservative talk radio constellation are at long last blasting The Donald and rallying to Cruz. The Palin speculation seemed even less plausible when this rumor leaked:

“I think having scum for a husband caused stress, alcohol abuse and bitterness. “

I think her cunning, craven, cold ways and lesbian tendencies, combined with her revolutionary zeal for leftist causes made Bill lonely. He found comfort wherever he could.

I do not for a moment think Cruz or Rubio will expel the Mexican underclass that has invaded us. They will certainly never make them stay out.
They are both first generation Hispanics born to foreign parents. Never trust a Cuban, left or right. Sad but a fact.
And also, because both are globalists. Open borders is the flip side of the NWO free trader religion.

“...the other way around, we have the angry purists who like a spoiled petulant child would rather have Satan leading this country then being pragmatic...”

Oh, I think there are plenty of “spoiled petulant children” on both sides who “would rather have Satan leading this country”. I think the decision has *clearly* turned emotional for a bunch of folks on both sides and all logic and reasoning has been tossed aside for the moment. Too many “Trumpanzees” and “Cruznadians” (terms I’ve read right here on FR) have drawn lines in the sand they *swear* they will not cross.

As we seemingly can’t resist doing, we Freepers are forming our usual, reliable circular firing squad and sniping at each other — as if it will make one dang bit of difference...

I’m supporting Cruz in the primaries and whoever opposes the Dem in the general, even if that is Trump. I would hope that the vast majority of Trump supporters will do the same. But judging by the tone and level of emotionally charged disagreement on display here on FR, I have all too reasonable doubts about both sides. The bigger picture seems readily sacrificed in petty arguments that go nowhere but in circles.

I honestly think it would be highly entertaining if Cruz offered Trump the VP spot (or Trump offered it to Cruz - I’ll take either) just to see all those who have drawn lines justifying if/how they are going to erase them.

We have rules here, any mention a world class babe require a pic :)

BTW I like the way you think, but I do not think she is old enough to serve as POTUS. But the campaign rallies would be Huge

You should use the “width” attribute when posting a pic

I love Palin but Ive never thought of her as a "Conservative icon"

She was a populist reformer, that leaned strongly conservative. Very much like Trump, except Trump has strong libertarian leaning too.

For me conservatism = wisdom and I don’t even think I’m a good conservative. Conservatism does not need icons, it needs God fearing people who will keep the faith no matter the cost and no matter how hypocritical we may feel about it.

"It's called money, power and fame. Sadly Sarah is now all about the Benjamins and being on the winning side."

Sarah never sold out, she went down rather then sell out. Now Cruz on the other hand sold us out to Marxist globalist on TPA. I trust Sarah a 1000 times more then I trust Cruz.

"Palin also endorsed Rick Perry in 2010 over K. B. Hutchison."

And you have a problem with that?

I do not for a moment think Cruz or Rubio will expel the Mexican underclass that has invaded us.

No, Cruz expects that enforcing the law that is on the books will force them out without need for messy police action.

I want you to contemplate the size of SWAT force that would be necessary to clean out Los Angeles. How many children would die? I promise you: there would be activist groups functioning as human shields with video cameras everywhere. Can you imagine what that would do to the political status of border enforcement?

Denying employment and welfare benefits while deporting them for the slightest infraction makes for less of a political target.

People on dialup or other slow connection just love pics like that. They get to go make lunch while the image loads.

Yeah - I know how to post pics, I just grabbed one quickly that looked reasonably sized on the place I scraped it from without investigating further. I was working quick, not being precise, and we got giant Hildabeast.

We will see Palin Derangement Syndrome and Trump Derangement Syndrome both go into hyper overdrive, and may see some people spontaneously combust.

I'm more concerned about the singularity that may form, when several of them go hypernova together and disappear.

[Term "hypernova" is completely new ... one is active now, in a galaxy about 3 billion light-years away, in the southern constellation Indus. ]

I’m a woman, so maybe my opinion shouldn’t count; but I like your photo of Taylor Swift. I’m getting tired of the FR tradition of posting a photo of Catherine Zeta Jones to neutralize negative imagery posted on FR. There was a brief groundswell for Britney Spears back in the day, but she flamed out all by herself. Taylor Swift seems to have staying power! My vote is for Swift as the official FR image antidote!

Now Cruz and his bots here are attacking Palin.

Cruz’s campaign is imploding and his bots heads are exploding.

Palin also endorsed Rick Perry in 2010 over K. B. Hutchison.

Yes, she sure did. God bless Sarah Palin.

I'm no Perry fan, he has sleazy rich friends .... but at least his friends don't include the Bush dynasty. Bush Sr. regards Perry as unreclaimed white trash, a scarcely-ameliorated Klansman in a business suit. So people say, who are in a position to know. Generally speaking, Bush people don't like the Democrats who crossed the aisle in the 80's and consider them all Dixiecrat racists.

KBH on the other hand, came up from TV journalism (she was a Dallas-area news anchor before she tried politics) and has always been a Bush "good government" Republican, with an ACU rating somewhere in the 70's or 80's, not quite as high as John McCain's before he began "drifting to the middle" and thinking about the Presidency.

And she's always been solidly pro-abort, which is what IMHO finally chased her out of politics.

As for me, I still like Palin, even though her track record is supporting the conservative candidate. I don’t consider her “infallible” like a Pope is revered, so I’m sure she has her reasons - if she is backing Trump.

Are you sure she is? So far what I've seen is a lot of wishin' and a-hopin' from commentators.
