The Supreme Court announced Tuesday that it will take up a case challenging the legality of President Barack Obama's executive actions aimed at granting quasi-legal status and work permits to up to five million people who entered the U.S. illegally as children or who have children who are American citizens.
The high court's widely-expected move gives Obama a chance to revive a key legacy item that has been in limbo for nearly a year, since a federal judge in Texas issued an order halting immigration moves the president announced just after the 2014 midterm elections.

I believe that Roberts ILLEGALLY adopted his two children, and he is being blackmailed by Obama. Plus, he may be gay or a bi-sexual. He seems totally compromised!
Roberts smuggled in his kids years ago first from Ireland then to Central America and finally to the US. The regime found out just in time to have obamacare declared a tax. Now Roberts will declare that nothing matters if the Dear Leader wants it he gets it.

SCOTUS has the opportunity to swing the election to the democrats by legalizing 10 million to 20 million illegals.
How can they vote?
Once legalized, they will be ‘coached’ to say they entered the USA more than 5 years ago thereby making them immediately eligible for citizenship. Thus, they can vote in November 2016.
If this threat goes viral, there is a chance that turnout can overwhelm the illegal-legal new voters.
Pray Trump-Cruz win in November and reverse this attack from within.

Not necessarily. The Supreme Court has been somewhat decent on sep of powers and reigning in Executive creep and overreach by Obama. There have been a good number of 9-0 decisions that have quietly flown under the radar.
This one can really go either way because of the Court makeup. No way to predict it. We know what the four A-holes will do. Kennedy and Roberts? Yikes. And if they focus on the executive order I worry that even Scalia might defect. Just no way to predict success. But it's possible.
Very surprised they are scheduling a big one in a high profile election year. This one *will* impact the election and during those last few critical months. Wow.
Let's look at the bright side and envision a win-win. If they support Barry again, the voters will be pissed, Trump gets a mighty sword of righteous indignation to slice through the competition and drum up popular support for a mandate for fundamental change.
If they smoke Barry, it will likely create irresistible momentum for the wall, stopping refugees, it sends a message to Ryan to drop the wussiecrat apology schtick and get it together and all subsequent actions like naturalization reform or a moratorium comes into play. I do like this option better.
Either way Trump has a long head start now to prepare for each possible outcome and prepare two plans covering each scenario. That is the kind of thing he does in real life.

I believe it is true that the issue of birth-right citizenship and ILLEGAL immigrants has not been decided..
all that's documented are comments by justices (obiter dictum) which had no bearing on the issue being decided.
Children born to foreigners owing unswerving loyalty to a foreign sovereignty (diplomats for example) are in fact excluded already.
What's the big deal about applying that to ILLEGAL aliens? Besides children born of Americans in foreign countries are American citizens.

I agree it is not a good sign for SCOTUS to take this up in an election year. They obviously have an agenda. Not good.

In my opinion SC justices would not take a bribe, but they can be blackmailed due to skeletons in their closets. A longstanding rumor is that the adoption of John Roberts’ children may have been illegal.
I [spent many hours researching what happened. Seems Roberts' wife was influenced by her mother to adopt two kids, a blond haired boy, and girl from their home county of Cork, Ireland.
To do so would be illegal.Strictly against Irish law.
So they found two different birth mothers took them and the two kids to Central America, pretended as if the kids were of Central American origin, and adopted them from there.Highly illegal. During a normal "meet the new scotus column" in the NYT years ago the NYT writer stumbled on all this by accident just doing background of the wife and kids for a piece on Roberts.the idea was to illustrate the new justice that had been appointed by 43.
The author figured out what was going on and refused to reveal the truth by claiming it would "violate the civil rights" of the kids.
Yeah right! NYT worried about the civil rights of a Republican appointees kids?Right..... Later the regime figured out what had happened and black mailed the crap out of Roberts after he had already written "the against" of obamacare.
Roberts wound up writing the "for" and the "against" for zerocare even after Scalia tried for a month to get him to stop the BS.
So we have obamcare as a tax.
So what about the adoption of the Obama children?
It’s likely a done deal or they would have left it alone...And of course no penalty for violating the legitimate orders of the judge...
