A spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign said Tuesday it would be a "blow" to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she endorsed businessman Donald Trump for president.
"I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN's "New Day."

And that was likely an appointed position which means that “expertise” isn’t always a prerequisite. Don’t set your bar so low on what constitutes an expert.

Palin, in spite of the vicious hateful attacks on her by the eGOP, is still one of the most effective players on the political scene of the present day.
The Roves, FOX NEWS faux conservative pundits et al are scared to death of her.

The reversal cannot be done if you elect anyone who is a loyal republican. They will always follow the direction of the party, which is simply to stay in charge. It has to be an outsider like Trump, running as a repub as a flag of convenience. That is why I am immune to fainting spells, anger, Trump as Hitler analogies, Star Wars fans dramatically intoning that THIS is how a republic dies, etc etc ad nauseum.
The GOP has finally exhausted its goodwill and trust. Nothing they say or no position they take matters. They have shown us for two decades that they are only saying it to win and have no desire to deliver. None. Not that they cant, they do not WANT to. Benefit of the doubt has been used up.

I agree, I think Trump loves America. I believe he's not happy with the way corruption has taken over our government. He should know, he's the one who has to pay to get things done. He's seen that side of it. I truly believe he wants a reset for our government and for our nation.

Cruz has a rep for not helping other candidates, actually. A few odd stories about him floating around out there. One is that he was against the big Prop. 187 immigration referendum in the 1990’s. etc.

Trump is abrasive but Im seeing a slime factor in Ted supporters. It wont win them any converts.

I was especially angered at the way 187 was nullified when it was overwhelmingly supported by the voters in California.
At this time, the percentages have flipped in CA, there are now more of those deemed “Hispanics” here than there are Caucasians.
