A spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign said Tuesday it would be a "blow" to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she endorsed businessman Donald Trump for president.
"I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN's "New Day."

By all accounts Cruz is a brilliant lawyer - which is not the same thing as being a politician or an executive.
You obviously are not very objective and like Trump, you dont’ seem to care if what you are saying about others is true or not.
Myself I’ve been a Trump supporter since day one. I never said anything when he 1st started getting very personal in attacking people. But I was not at all happy about what he said about Carly Fiorina, nor with some things about Carson, especially attacking his comment to his faith.
Even then I would have been happy for Sarah to endorse him because I thought he was the only person on earth who could fix things.
But since then his focus on mostly attacking others and his recent vicious attacks on Cruz have rubbed me the wrong way. Especially after he had previously spoken so highly of Cruz and his family. That is a major flip-flop and makes me wonder just how good is Trump’s word.
Instead he should be explaining why he became a conservative Republican. Why has he changed from being a liberal Democrat. And rather than trying to fool evangelicals into believing he has always focused on religion, be honest and say it has never been a big part of his life, in any genuine sense. Showing a confirmation certificate from when he was a kid doesn’t fool anyone.
So I would just prefer Sarah hold an endorsement until the primaries play out.
Perhaps they know better than you about who is being fooled..

Logically, Cruz or someone like Cruz is best left in the Senate or made a Supreme court judge. The executive branch does not pass laws. As a Senator he can write laws to be inline with constitutional principals. Being an executive is a totally different animal and the VP slot would be a waste of Cruz's talents.
What?
It ain’t quite that bad, but she won’t bring a boatload of conservative voters either.
Since the VP run in 08, Sarah has made a few faux pas which have dimmed many’s view.
Just thinking aloud. If she had no plans to endorse Trump, still sitting on the fence, which way do you this warning shot would push her?
I don’t know that it helps or hurts DT.
I do know I will never vote for DT.
Hah. Just heard 26 polls out of 30 show Hill beating DT.
Take care of yourself, and if your conscience (and/or pocketbook) will let you - stay home and rest! :-)
Miss drama queen tells FR for the 1000th time she won’t vote for Trump.
Who the hell cares? Stay home.
Nobody will miss you at the polls.
If and whom she endorses will say much more about her than them.
Donald ‘Barnum’ Trump has a history of inference and innuendos, some of which panned out many did not, never to be mentioned again.
The Donald's Trump, Inc. is a big business, which makes him a BIG Target for shakedown in its many forms and disguises. This would be true anywhere, but is especially true in NYC.
To succeed in a place like NYC, which has been long-governed by insanity, The Donald's Trump, Inc. would require a fairly sizable expense account to cover Insanity Costs be included in his yearly budget.
To me, I see his past public displays of progressivism as not much more than general ledger entries.
Nothing personal, you understand, just business.
Dumb move to insult Palin out of the gate before she has even officially endorsed Trump. This just makes Cruz look petty and small since Palin had previously endorsed him for Senate. That is a real weak spot for Cruz and he’s opened the door to get smacked down by her. Desperate move.
Ted would be best serving as Attorney General, you know doing lawyer type stuff, isn’t that his forte?
Maybe questions about Cruz’s 0bamatrade votes, his eligibility, his deep Goldman Sachs connections, Cruz’s willingness to be duped by McConnell, and that Cruz was on the private Senate Republican organization committee that voted to fund Cochran attacks IN A PRIMARY against a Tea Party challenger, were a small start to her lack of comfort with Teddy.
in order to stay relevant
In order to stay solvent.
Pray America wakes
I hope YOU wake up.
"Two Corinthians"....Really?
You think Trump has a clue about the Jesus Christ you follow?
No man is perfect but I will stand with a man who is Proud of his relationship with Christ!
Go Ted Cruz!
I think they know that the Cruzies are being fooled.
Yes.
