Donald Trump has been teasing a "major endorsement" that he is scheduled to release today in Iowa, and the rampant speculation is that it will be Sarah Palin's. I don't really know if this particular speculation is true, but I do know that if Palin doesn't endorse Trump today, she will endorse him eventually. At this point, only a particularly aggressive hair splitter would concede that she has not endorsed Trump already.
The last few months have not been pretty for conservatives who have long denied with angry vehemence the allegation that many of the leading figures in the conservative movement were only in it for the money and/or the attention. Liberals have long claimed that this was true about people like Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and a long list of others, especially including Sarah Palin.
Oh, how we have been deceived by the dulcet tones of arguments that sound internally consistent and which fit with our own preconceived notions of the world. "Nonsense," we loudly declared. "These people believe things, and we can tell you with certainty what they are! See, we have their books that we have purchased where it is all laid out!"
The going narrative in and around DC is that the Trump assault has been an eye-opening phenomenon to the GOP Establishment. Maybe, maybe not. I have my doubts about Mitch McConnell and gang's ability to learn anything, and they are moreover already cozying up to the Trump organization anticipating that he will win the nomination.

There is a certain dishonesty about some of you. Changing titles, leaving out authors.
Why is that?
Above and beyond whether Sarah Palin endorses anyone, why would anyone think that talk radio hosts and commentators/authors are in it for anyone but themselves? Rush is right— like your daily horoscope. That’s not a terrible thing- but to assume that people who are out there basically talking for a living- are somehow standard-bearers of conservatism is a mistake. Yesterday Rush sounded like a shill for Cruz and a different day perhaps for Trump. Everything they do is designed to get listeners, keep listeners, and make money. That’s their career.
All that comes to mind is that great George Jones and Tammy Wynette song “It’s Cryin’ Time.”

The best of all worlds would see a Trump/Palin ticket.
They hate Palin for the same reason they hate Trump: they are both outsiders....If one or the other were to ever attain a position of power on the inside, the game would be over.
aah..... does your shoulder ever get sore from patting your self on the back?
your purity of heart has effectively narrowed your mind
When posters find it necessary to call any criticism or posts that aren’t laudatory about someone, as expressing “hate,” it becomes clear that they don’t have an argument and are hoping to shut down debate.
“The world is upside down. Not sure it will make any difference. Sarah had a record of conservative principles. That is gone. I will never for for Trump. If he wins the nomination I will never vote for him. Sarah will not change that.”
No one cares that you won’t vote for Trump. You’re like a stuck record. Sound and fury signifying nothing.
There is a certain dishonesty about some of you. Changing titles, leaving out authors. Why is that? The tile was a direct copy and paste. The omission of the author was human error. Happens.
Trump has saved the Republicans from themselves. You’re inability to appreciate how Palin, and now Trump, have energized the “salvation wing” of the Republican Party is telling. Go in peace.
I disagree. Red State is actually pushing Cruz only to get back to Bush. Trump destroyed Bush first, which was a great plan. Since then Red State has tried to destroy Trump. First by uninviting him to their little gathering, next by trying to draw Trump supporters into the Cruz camp. My opinion of course.
This is just blog trash, with its author's name conveniently omitted here.
No. He’s wrong. Conservative ideas will still exist, but they won’t matter. The movement will be completely dead if Republicans nominate an open borders globalist liar like Trump. He is right that there are a lot of “political whores” you’ve been posing as conservatives.
nice one here
Let’s consider Red State’s new narrative. Ban Trump, who’s main objective seems to be a border wall, a new Americanism, and protecting jobs. Marginalize Palin, who epitomizes the Tea Party, smaller government, and an end to crony capitalism.
Any questions?
It Trump wins, we and everyone else will know conservatives are a very small minority. We won’t even get the bones they throw at us now and then. There will be a full frontal attack. It has already started on FR. Conservatives will be purged from FR if soon, if it hasn’t started already.

It's funny that you use NRO to prove your argument. BTW, I read the article and Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, and to a lesser degree Nikki Haley ARE RINOS. They sold out their base beliefs to "get along". If you listened to Ryan in the early days (5-6 years ago when he was new), you would have heard a passionate fighter who was willing to go to bat for us. Listen to him now, he caves on everything. Marco Rubio, all I can say is Gang of 8. However, the common thread between them all is that they are open border advocates and will never have my support, no matter what propagandist at NRO says to the contrary,
Whose campaign do you work for/support? After reading this article, I find it hard to believe that you could support Cruz either. Here's a suggestion, your frequent anti trump posts are getting tiresome. Why don't you try posting something positive about your candidate instead. If you read my posts, you may notice that I would be willing to support either Trump or Cruz. So, please don't try to label me as a Trump fanatic. I am simply tired of the vitriol as of late.
Wow, your hatred of Trump is so deep and blinding....
As I said in Post #17:
"When posters find it necessary to call any criticism or posts that aren't laudatory about someone, as expressing "hate," it becomes clear that they don't have an argument and are hoping to shut down debate."
If it is Palin she better clue Trump on attacking TED Cruz it is turning me off, attack him on policy fine, the personal stuff save for the democrats
