Since we're dredging up the garbage, there is one "skeleton" in Trump's closet that does make him vulnerable to a "War on Women" attack that I always regretted and kept quiet about for fear of others using it against him.

I'm talking about Trump's treatment of Carolyn Kepcher.

Kepcher was Trump's Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, for the Trump Golf Properties. The story is that Trump fired her because "Kepcher's newfound celebrity status had kept her too busy with speaking engagements and endorsements to focus on her responsibilities for the Trump organization. Kepcher was replaced on The Apprentice by Ivanka Trump, beginning with Season 6."

I don't know if that was the whole story or just the excuse to make room for the rise of Ivanka Trump's exposure on Trump's show. In any case, this is the perfect time for Trump to reach out to Kepcher and mend fences. Take this issue off of the table before it starts and find a place for Kepcher in the campaign, perhaps in communications and women's outreach, where she has focused post-Trump.

This particular event was anticipated and searched for location and time all day long. When it at last begin, it was difficult to keep the excitement from blowing off our roof. Sarah still looks good, and as she spoke her voice an presentation gained the strength and momentum needed. What an evening. Donald and Sarah are ready to do great this for this country and ready to lead a very large army of GREAT AMERICANS. I do feel badly for Cruz - but feel when all this shakes down, he will come round and be happy as a team player on the Trump Train. At the moment he must be feeling lower than the rug in the Oval Office.

I agree. Trump can win without Iowa, but with Iowa I think his nomination is assured.

If he wins Iowa I think he will go on to run the table, including New Jersey and Ohio and yes, Texas, and of course Florida.

It is a great night for the Trump campaign. He has played this last week very well and effectively to his advantage. However, in politics, 2 weeks is an eternity. He has momentum, but must sustain it and not expect it all to fall in place. He is a very hard worker, I don’t expect him to do that, but his campaign must remain vigilant and focused.
