Monday on “CBS This Morning,†long-time Clinton ally James Carville appeared on set to discuss last night’s Democratic presidential debate, giving the edge to Hillary Clinton over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Carville is married to a GOP political strategist Mary Matalin who is a Cruz backer.
With that I think he’s being honest. Trump and Cruz are another level, Cruz is smarter, but Trump is a rockstar.
Ya know, his wife had a meet and greet last week for Teddy while he was ducky dynasty hunting. He is probably just saying that to make her happy, she adores Cruz like Rush and I do.
That’s what the polls are saying huh? Didn’t think so.

Because they know that the whole NBC issue with Cruz is one they can exploit and pound him in the head with. It’ll be a million times worse than what Trump is doing on the issue.

I don’t recall Rush saying your last sentence. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of RINOs, ‘RATS & LEFTISTS absolutely DESPISE Rush and whatever he says—Funny dat!
Carville is a lawyer. Cruz is a lawyer. They back their own kind. So,you want another lawyer as President? No thank you. I’m going with the businessman, a doer, not a talker. If Cruz is Prez, nothing will get done. No border wall, no nothing. Cruz just doesn’t have the force of personality to get anything done. If you want status quo, you’ll get it with Cruz.

Yes, but he’s also a pro who trusts in the kind of small ball political baseball Cruz is playing. Small ball does get beat sometimes by home runs (and Trump does bear a weird resemblance to Mark McGwire) but aficionados of the “game” enjoy and appreciate the former more than the latter.

I’ve always only had a passing knowledge of Donald Trump;
just wrote him off as an oft-married, ultra-rich, person.
Having said that; I do not think Ted Cruz can beat Hillary
Clinton & her little First Laddie. I will not vote for
one more GOPe token candidate; but I will crawl over rough
gravel to get to the polls to vote for Trump or Cruz either
one. Hope it’s Trump because I think he can beat Hillary or
Bernie either one. It’s not a “looks thing”; Cruz looks as
well as Trump does, but I doubt he could stand up to the
barrage that the Clinton machine will blast him with. I
suspect Trump can give as good as he takes.

He says it everyday on his show, it used to ‘bother’ me but NOW it’s an insult to my intelligence.
I’ll still listen to him but not with the same respect I had for him before but if he goes on another bias Cruz v Trump rant, the radio goes off.
Carville a big Cruz fan. Interesting.
