Not surprising you didn't get it. You had trouble understanding simple logic previously.
If most people in NY, and it absolutely is most, if not damn near everyone there today, can't even do that minimum yet important thing for their fellow citizens of the city, particularly in a dangerously overcrowded like NY, they are very unlikely of doing anything more substantial. How difficult is it to simply motion to a driver you're walking directly in front of at a crosswalk that their lights are off. Or are you one of those self-centered creeps that just doesn't give a crap about anyone else? No need to answer. You obviously are.
New Yorkers tend to leave others alone unless it’s an emergency. You’ve never noticed that? Besides, traffic moves so slowly, the chance of an accident because of lights being on or off is minimal. I’m sure people signal each other once they’re on the BQE because it’s important once the speed picks up. On the other hand, I’ve never noticed that one way or the other.
If you hate NYers so much, why are you there? I don’t get it.
And if I was to use your logic, since you didn’t answer my question, I guess you DO ride on the sidewalks. Not nice.
