NO offense meant towards the victims,
But what the hell are they doing in Burkina Faso for vacation?
I did wonder why anyone would go there. There isn’t even a beach.
Islam is a war plan.
Maybe for the cuisine?
If I cannot carry abroad my CAR-15 carbine in its hard case , along with 4 x 40 round mags, and a side arm, I see little reason to travel abroad these days.
Customs laws be damned, they have to change.
The use of the word, cowardly, seems to me to be inappropriate and just trying to use denigrating words regardless of their provenance. These monsters are not showing cowardice. They are not shrinking from injury and death. They are evil. They are almost mindless. But in these actions, at least, they do not show themselves as cowards. The coward would turn aside and not trigger his explosives but would sneak away. To a leftist, I suppose they would be correctly termed cowardly because to a leftist all adjectives are interchangeable and the ones having the most emotional punch are the ones that should be used. Word definitions are entirely malleable and the emotive content is their only value.
Most were probably government/UN or NGO charity workers.
The article says that the American had moved there with his wife to run an orphanage. I doubt that it was for the UN. He was probably a Christian.
Regardless of why they were there, they had every right to be there and not to be killed. Just like the people of Paris had every right to go to a nightclub without being killed.
Islamic terrorism is the problem, not where people choose to go, and in any case, Islamic terrorism can come looking for you no matter where you are, including right at home.
Of course. However, I was surprised to see that so many of the victims were foreign to Burkina Faso, and so I read the article and learned that the targeted site was frequented by UN and charity personnel.
The orphanage operator and his wife came from a church in Florida.
That was the same strategy of the Mumbai and the Westgate Mall attackers; they deliberately target foreigners messing with their Islamic paradise.
I have never visited a Muslim country (or one where more than 10% of the population is Muslim), and never will.
It makes a bigger impression that way, making people in Western countries more likely to accept dhimmitude.
I guess there was no obvious Jewish center, like the Chabad house in Bombay, available, or perhaps this group of "youths" wasn't as sophisticated.
Thanks for posting. Condolences to families and friends of the innocent victims.

It seems the further you get from Jerusalem, the more likely any Muslim is a target (for example, the problems on Mindanao in the Philippines).
Muslims see with 100% clarity that there can be no coexistence with non-Muslims; they will either win it all or lose it all. Only Westerners somewhat insulated from the threat sees it otherwise.
Some places (Sudan, Philippines) have conflicts that are more complex than Moslem/non-Moslem.
Lie down in Burkina Faso, Die down in Burkina Faso. Find better spots to vacation.
Cowardice is exactly correct. Cowards attack unarmed people. They are mindless because these craven fiends use drugs to overcome their fears. Bravado is not bravery, and enslavement is not principled willfulness. Terrorists are cowards by definition.
Naive is no excuse.
