Let’s just say you are right, that Cruz’s loans were paid off by donors.
Those people “voluntarily” gave their money.

Did the people that lost money to Trump when his companies took bankruptcy give that money “voluntarily” to Trump for him never to pay them back?
No!
Has Trump, since he supposedly has 10 billion dollars, ever paid them back? Or even offered to pay them back?
