HOUSTON, Texas – Today, the Cruz for President campaign announced the endorsement of 12 former Republican State Party Chairmen and Republican National Committee members who support Cruz for President.

"Cruz is uniquely qualified to broaden the base of our party reaching Reagan Democrats, Hispanic/Latinos, Catholic, Jewish, Christian and working families to win in November,” said Saul Anuzis, former Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party.

“Ted Cruz embodies the principles of the Republican Party – he is a tireless defender of our liberties and the Constitution, an ardent believer in the values we cherish, and he possesses the leadership we so desperately need to keep our nation safe from threats abroad,” said Norm Semanko, former Idaho Republican Party Chairman and RNC General Counsel. “I am honored to join this group of Republican Party leaders in support of his candidacy for president.”

“I am thrilled to have this group of courageous conservatives join our campaign,” said Cruz. “We must come together, as conservatives and fight for the values that have made this country great in order to win the White House. If we do that we will win and we will turn this country around.”

Listed in ALPHA order are the first 12 former GOP State Chairmen and Republican National Committee members endorsing Ted Cruz for President:

Hate to burst your bubble, but some of those are states where the Republican State Chairman hasn’t done diddly squat for Conservatism in the last 20 years.

Ted actually thinks they’ll help him.

In our states they didn’t lift a finger for our most Conservative people.

If I were Ted, I’d rescind their appointments.

Those folks will undercut him as quick as they can.

If no other state, at least get rid of those guy from California.

They’ll betray him in a second.

I wouldn’t wish them on Trump, that’s for sure.

“I wouldn’t wish them on Trump, that’s for sure.”

That’s for sure. Keep them away from Trump so they do no damage to him. Let them let-down Cruz, which they will.

The Republican party leadership in California is on the other side. There’s simply no other way to put it.

George Strake ran for lt. governor with Bill Clements in 1982, and they both lost to the “democracy”.

DB, why don’t you comfort yourself by looking back while the rest of us look forward.

That way both ends will be covered. Thanks.

If you refuse to acknowledge the past you’re doomed to repeat it.

One of us is very gullible. In a couple of years we’ll know who.

If you want to think I’m the one that is gullible, that’s okay with me.

Trump is not lying to me. There he is warts and all, and we have seen every bit of it thanks to the Cruz folks.

Never mind if he’s hawking that past bad policies or not, they are sure that’s what he really believes. So be it.

When Cruz was the policy adviser to Bush in 1999, he worked with Bush to formulate an anti California Proposition 187 stance. Cruz either suggested that stance or merely developed verbiage for Bush to tell the public and the press.

So either Ted was my enemy for trashing Proposition 187 five years after it was passed, then struck down by the Ninth Circuit Court, or he was simply willing to go along to get along by helping Bush polish is anti Prop 187 stance.

Those are the actions of a RINO.

Ted is supposedly an expert at Constitutional matters. None the less he jumped into this with both feet, to oppose State’s Rights against California.

Sound Conservative to you?

In 2011 Cruz stated that the 14th Amendment absolutely made the children of illegal aliens born here, instant Citizens of the United States.

I don’t know a single Conservative that defaults to that opinion. The “great one” levin disagreed with that Cruz stance.

Step forward to 2013 and the Gang of Eight Bill. Ted wanted to stop it so bad he offered up two amendments. One was to double the amount of legal immigrants each year. The other was to increase to 500% the number of H1-B visas allowed each year. That would be an increase from 65,000 to 325,000 each year.

Ted said he offered these two up to be poison pills. These amendments didn’t pass. Neither did the gang of 8 bill.

So Ted dropped both those ideas right? The were just promoted to stop the Gang of 8 Bill right? No! Ted kept pushing for the H1-B visas increase until last last fall.

So Ted lied when he referred to that amendment as a poison pill. It wasn’t a poison pill at all. It was his desire to increase the H1-B visas. He lied.

I don’t like it when people claim to be Conservative, then lie about policy and are found out to have been outside the range of Conservative thought.

So don’t try to sell a Conservative version of Ted to me. He’a a liar and has been against Conservative thought on issues. He has been my enemy on issues.

He had a president’s ear, and he was helping that man sell acceptance of illegal aliens in the U. S.

He’s full of horse stuff as far as I am concerned.

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN
(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a ‘natural born citizen’ is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

I’m not familiar with him, but Cruz should be more discerning about who he thinks will help him.

As a Trump supporter I noted that he had GOPe types endorsing him in Iowa.

Did I want him to win there? No, but he should be aware that GOPe types aren’t going to be pulling out the stops for him.

I don’t see how the endorsement by these eGOP chumps is something to advertise?

Makes me worry about Cruz selling out.

What exactly had Trump done for “conservatism” prior to this run for president?

Why do you keep posting this stupid question? He was a bit busy running a multi-billion dollar business and like the rest of us watched what the corrupt in D.C. did to conservatism, patriotism, the economy, and foreigner and domestic polices, our borders etc. Trump was not an elected official creating policy and causing this chaos, he was a guy who worked 18 hour a day running many big companies.

If you can see the need for big change and want to save this country from decline, you try to become the boss. He even told you after watching the never ending frauds and failures, we have stupid leadership and he was going to have to run and do it himself.

This is not complex.

Right. He was busy being part of that corruption buying politicians at all levels of government. Something many say here is just how big business is done. Particularly in New York. So his ambition for more wealth exceeded his basic ethics - and the law. But that’s okay you say.

Some wealthy conservative business owners somehow found the time to push for conservative causes without playing both sides of the field while they ran their businesses. Some business owners limit their ambitions to what is ethical and lawful and accept less wealth as a consequence.

So in short all your faith in Trump is based on nothing more than words - recent words that wildly conflict with his past words.

And you say I’m the one not paying attention...

Trump does things big. Always has. It’s why he’s running for President, to take the country back from the stranglehold of the corrupt in D.C. There is no way anything less achieve this so effectively.

Get it?
