Donald Trump‘s tweetstorm against Ted Cruz today culminated in him posting a photo of the rubble after the 9/11 attack:
Is this the New York that Ted Cruz is talking about & demeaning? pic.twitter.com/rYGX9vazku — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016 |
And boy, did a lot of people have a problem with that:
I didn't like @tedcruz's "New York values" trope. But this vulgar exploitation of 9/11 by @realDonaldTrump is worse. https://t.co/TLYvEJQ0Qe — Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) January 16, 2016 |
No, this is the New York of a heroism & sacrifice that @realDonaldTrump has never demonstrated or even appreciated. https://t.co/TLYvEJQ0Qe — Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) January 16, 2016 |
Even Giuliani was better than this. Although just barely. https://t.co/4Qjer4qxj8 — Allahpundit (@allahpundit) January 16, 2016 |
.@realDonaldTrump See? I'll use some tragedy to further MY goals. I have no shame. I want to win this bitch and will do whatever it takes! — Fake Donald Trump (@TheFakeTrump) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump ANYONE TO DUMB TO BELIEVE TED CRUZ WAS TALKING ABOUT THE P8C ABOVE AND NOT ABOUT NY'S LIBERALS THEN YOUR TOO DUMB TO VOTE. — RANDY FORREST (@FORREST077) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump @ArmorCavSpin No it's the one that elected Bloomberg, Cuomo and DeBlasio. The leftist, asshat totalitarian NY. — Marcus Porcius (@Marcus_Porcius) January 16, 2016 |
. @realDonaldTrump My respect for you is going the the same direction as your bullshit attacks on @tedcruz . Down in the gutter … — brockasso (@itsmebrock) January 16, 2016 |
No, it's this one. RT @realDonaldTrump: Is this the New York that Ted Cruz is talking about & demeaning? pic.twitter.com/GLODa1COGR — STU BURGUIERE (@WorldOfStu) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump alright….enough milking 9/11….its getting distasteful already — Greg (@PrairieDevil) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump And stop pimping out the worst terrorist attack in US History because your poll numbers are dropping. — Jesse Kelly (@JesseKellyDC) January 16, 2016 |
CRuz wears boots for a reason....because he’s standing in what he’s trying to peddle...and it’s getting deep.
LOL.
THIS is the most childish thread.
Catherine had a funny one: She said Trump is like Eugene because he wouldn’t be able to take care of himself in the ZA and would need others to take care of him.
I didn’t agree, but it was still funny.
nd then we have A Tried, True and Proven Constitutionalist Conservative....Who loves, God, Country, And Freedom who has fought ‘In’ the battles and wears the scars of those battles fought in Washington.....just as he Promised he would do!
I’m sorry was that fight in Washington or Montreal? Couldn’t resist. Have a great night.
How about that only candidate that the Queen of Conservatism is backing. Isn’t Phyllis Schaftly backing the Donald? Or does that mean anything to anyone?
Yes.... you could have resisted....your just looking for a fan club.
9/11 WAS NOT A NYC EVENT .. it was a NATIONAL event.
For days and weeks and months, there were all these stories of people who dropped everything and went to NYC to help with the searching and cleanup.
How dare NY try to say the rest of America was not involved in 9/11.
Yep, Ted Cruz has managed to really get under the skin of the Donald.
As Rush likes to say of Obama and the liberals in DC. “I live rent free inside their heads.”
Likewise, the continual tweeting of the Donald today regarding Cruz proves that Cruz now is living rent free within the Donald’s head.
He got an apology from Cruz for his NY Values comment, but not what he was expecting, concluding with the link to https://youtu.be/KHAHKGP10yc
And now the Donald is drawing fire he had not anticipated.
Is this the way the Donald expects to behave should he manage to be elected President?
Easy to see. Meshuge has been all over the Trump threads, often saying the same crap over and over again.
I remember when the battle cry was "We will never forget" but I guess that depends on situational convenience these days....
wow
Yes, he’s very theatrical with his expressions.....wears his emotions on his face.
I didnât agree, but it was still funny."
First of all, totally off-topic, but I want to get a movement started to kill off Eugene and bring back Milton. I wonder if that can be done. Oh, well, guess not.
About Trump as a TWD character---yeah, I stand by him as a Eugene type. He's soft, old, pampered, likes his luxuries. He's admitted he'd rather sleep in his own bed than work on the campaign trail, so he'd have a hard time adjusting to the ZA.
More importantly, has he ever fired a gun? Ever hunted? I've heard nothing about it, and this kind of thing wouldn't work too well on walkers:
I spent way too much time last night trying to think of a character Trump would be like. I never thought of Eugene. I did think of the governor ... the scariest character ever ...because he could seem nice and like a good leader until his true character came out.
But the Governor was tough so ...
I don’t want to kill Eugene off...I think the show needs the offbeat characters.
The most insane thing I have heard is that Trump can handle the media and Cruz can not. What happened at the cnbc debate, Cruz after being asked why he wasn’t liked in washington and as a result how could he lead. He turned the backstabbing mess of that debate around to a slightly more informative debate where the enemies were the left and not other candidates. Now Cruz, as well as every intelligent person knows the media is against the conservitive. Whether it be the left wingers, the GOPe places or the moderates. If you think that Cruz would subject his wife and family to all of this scorn, ridicule, and investigation in minutia with out a plan than you are nuts.
They have the Donald Trump Attitude??
as I remember there was also an incident in Washington D.C. where a bunch of Arabian Islamic TERRORISTS also landed a plane inside the pentagon?
why aren’t the people in D.C. WHINING about being left out !.../s
Donald should be reminded that he’s set himself up for all the righteous ridicule thats been heaped on him. Not that that would do a darned bit of GOOD....
This guys exit from center stage will be a bizarre wonder to behold..and its not too far off!!
Yeah, if the governor hadn’t been soft, I could totally see it.
I always really liked Eugene and I enjoyed his humor, but lately his cowardice has just been grossing me out to the point I can barely stand him anymore. Of course, it could be that the writers are doing that in order to start a redemption arc, which would be fine with me.
.
To put it in simple terms, your number disregards unfunded public employee retirement plans, state and local bond debt.
Why does it make you feel inferior?
