From the article: "When I mentioned a Trump/Kasich ticket to a well-known veteran Republican campaign strategist who thus far has been anti-Trump, his response was âVedddy interesting. Like it.â Looking for another opinion, I asked a Trump-leaning national GOP consultant who said emphatically, âThat ticket will defeat Hillary""
-------
SMOKE On this Trumpsters: this is probably the one ticket (anything with John Kasich in it), that would make me vote 3rd party. That Trumps advisors would even consider it tells me a lot (negative about his character), that he's really just an opportunist: JOHN KASICH, eeeewe and NO THANK YOU!!

Oh, God, no. If that happens, I imagine the relationship between those two will make Eisenhower/Nixon look like a bromance.

Yes that is who he will pick. I thought Christie. Then Walker. But Christie does not offer a different region and Walker, well, that union thing which Trump disagrees with. So Kasich. I think he will pick Kasich.

This reminds me of how members of the royal court try to interpret the meaning behind the King scratching his butt or taking a grape with his left or right hand. “Does he mean to promote Sir Montague? No, it’s Rutherford, no doubt!”

Trump has to know that choosing any of The Cheap Labor Express candidates will cause him to lose

Kasich annoys me but in terms of what will make you all vote third party the answer is simple - EVERYTHING.
I’m so sick of the stay home and vote third party crap. Do us all a favor and just stay home spare us the suspense.

Cruz/Kasich has about as much credibility.
Such desperation, I wonder why you would post this trash.

Nope. Only Trump, Cruz, and Rubio will get delegates. Trump and Rubio will strike a deal at some point for a Trump/Rubio ticket by pooling delegates

Any hope for a Trump Cruz ticket has been schlonged.

This is consistent with the tradition has having a gelding on the ticket to fill the VP spot. Dick Cheney is the only exception I can remember (since Johnson — and look how that turned out).

I think Trump will choose Rahm Emanuel, Cory Booker, or one of the other pols he’s bought. However, whoever it is, we’ll be told on FR and Breitbart he’s yuge, an America first nationalist, are fighters, and will make America great again.
