Ted Cruz has taken more heat for his comments about “New York values†than he has anything else he has said since he was elected in 2012. Naturally, since most of the mainstream media is based out of New York, it has been high horse riding time as so many have gotten their panties in a wad over the comments. Ironically, they take more offense at what Cruz said than in Donald Trump’s blatant birtherism. Being a birther is cool now that it’s not Barack Obama who is the subject of Trump’s comments.
Unfortunately for Trump, who deftly (but at the same time shamelessly) evoked 9/11 as a means of responding to Ted Cruz’s comments, he cannot escape the very things he has said over the course of the last 15 years. Trump, as I have said on prior occasions is a charlatan. He is not a conservative at all. He is not now and never has been one. Outside of immigration (which is far more based on phony populism than policy), his views on taxes, healthcare, foreign policy and trade carry all the hallmarks of a progressive Democrat.

YES there are a lot of commies here, but New York values are also HARD WORK, TENACITY, TOUGHNESS.
Cruz should have said LIBERAL VALUES instead. He flubbed it and is digging a deeper and deeper hole because of all his connections to New York money.

Cruz should have come out as a positive alternative to Trump’s rage, a happy warrior... Instead he’s just coming off like a smarmy jackass lawyer.

Do you not understand the difference between swing states and far left states or for that matter conservative states? I mean it would seem to be pretty easy stuff based on the historical record and partisan I’d of state legislatures.
trump fails on many levels, in many ways. But the issue of life is before all issues for me. How can you claim to protect me, without hypocrisy, from islamic terrorists, when you can’t bring yourself to unequivocally stand for legal protection for ALL human life, from conception to natural death?

I guess procrastination while I was lurking starting back in the twentieth century. Wish I had joined up sooner. I do have a decade long record of conservative commentary though. So whether people agree or disagree with me, they know where I stand and that I am not a troll.
I do not mind conservatives who prefer Trump over Cruz or say they will not support one or the other on principle, but I prefer to debate the merits of such positions from the mutually agreed position of conservatism rather than with trolls who are just here to hurt the cause by spreading lies and trying to influence opinions negatively.
