I just installed security cameras on my house. They've got built in night vision and motion detection. They hook up to a DVR recorder in the house which is only activated by motion in front of the camera. When things are quiet and still, it stops recording.
I can't believe how effective they are at recording anything (and anyone) who makes the slightest move outside your house. Suggest you get some.
I am doing the same thing with the surveillance cameras. Should be ready in February. Once in place the Trump signs go up.
