Trump singing a different tune just a short while back. FLIP FLOP campaign conservative.
Is the Keystone pipeline government property or private? It’ is private. Eminent domain was/is being used to acquire the land for it.
**************************************************************************
Well, it IS “private” but it will be for “public use”. The private owner will be required to make it available to ALL qualified customers. It is sort of like private electrical lines owned by private investors but meant for PUBLIC USE.
Check the constitution...it says “PUBLIC USE” and does not say for POLICALLY CONNECTED DEVELOPERS TO ENRICH THEMSELVES.
'His own man' is an ambiguous phrase intended to imply something concretely positive but that's not always the case. John Gotti was his own man too. So, in and of itself that has little value to a voter like me whose concern is voting for a leader who has a proven track record of supporting and fighting for the conservative values, principles and ideas I hold dear.
After your actions last night on this very forum, you’ve got no room to talk.
What happens between God and someone else is none of your business...just the same as what we want to know about you and your God is none of our business...
Grow up!!!
But the point is, he has no proven track record to show that he means what he says on the campaign, and plenty of inconsistencies in his past positions. So, even when he is saying conservative things now, there is good reason not to trust it.
“There’s one born every minute.”
I like this.
The Keystone pipline should not be using eminent domain to take private property. It is Kelo that opened that door.
“Cruz said it should be up to the states to decide and that it is none of the federal governmentâs business - which is correct.”
That is convenient.
So, he is not fighting gay marriage. Cruz originally was for fighting gay marriage; check out what he said when the decision was made by the Supreme Court.

The “loading wheel” just keeps spinning as I try to load the video. It may be in the process of “being disappeared”?
Just six short months ago, Trump boasted about the “good aspects” of Planned Parenthood. During the first debate, he promoted Single-Payer healthcare, bragged about buying off politicians, and described collusion with Hitlery and BJ Clinton or Natzi Pelosi as “part of doing business”. Yep, he’s still “evolving”. Check the latest poll numbers on any given issue and he will “evolve” some more.
So what’s worse Trump’s view of the world in 1999 as a New York businessman
or
Ted Cruz running for U.S. Senate in 2008 taking bribe money from Wall Street in private and hiding it from the public? This is because he was bashing crony capitalism on Wall Street yet taking millions from Goldman Sachs and Citibank
Yeah Trump’s got a big ego. Don’t be fooled that Cruz doesn’t have a big one - he does. If Trump does what his campaign planks says what he wants done, it won’t matter about his large ego as long as he produces and backs it up. He does like to win and get things done. And Trump doesn’t have to wear his Christianity on his sleeve to believe in God and Christ.
Yes, you do talk.
Yeah, those babies he thought should be pulled out until only their head was in their mom's body, then stabbed in the head with scissors,
... would have been handsome, too.
Trump still had no control.
It is really hard for me to understand the obsession with that decision.
I hope you never run afoul of our current drug laws, which allow law enforcement to take everything you have before you ever go to trial, or the IRS that will seize everything you have in a second if you don’t cross every T or dot every i.
I think that's not fair. This was from 1999, not a couple years ago. Trump has totally changed his views on abortion and is opposed to gay marriage. He's running as a strong conservative. He's not running as a Rudy Giuliani.
If Kelo wad been in affect at the time Trump sued to take her land he would have gotten it. She had to defend herself from Trump in court and all the burdens that came from that just to retain her property. Now that limit has been breached by Kelo.

At least Cruz has been consistent...in supporting Obamatrade, in increasing H1B visas, in legalizing illegals, in being a Goldman Sachs puppet and finally in not winning any primary state.
Go Rafael!!!!!
Yes, ..but that was his mother's faith...I've seen no evidence he's ever attended church outside of a Holiday....it's just not part of the Trump Empire.
He knows he cannot win without the Christian community....so he set the stage several times to "show" that he is by gathering some Christians to pray for him in a photo shoot..and waving the Bible his mother gave him.
When he's been interviewed his responses are what you would hear from a child....and when he was called on those he then resorted to simply "not wanting to get into details" as he said.
It's not unusual for people to question what he says as he's so often wrong or exaggerates, as well as lies....but he's a master at "coloring" not just his stage presence but what he says as well......for every oops! there's a tango step he'll use to untwist his feet.
I would have much better accepted the guy if he just remained neutral about matters of the faith.....but his "show", which is deceptive, puts him in another category altogether.
When I was a little boy growing up in Long Island, I was very proud to be from New York. But my mother (a native Brooklynite) said, oh honey, you’re not from New York, you’re from New York STATE. That’s not New York.
Confused, I asked her how was that different?
She said, when people say New York, they mean New York City, not New York state. In fact, some people mean just Manhattan.
I think Sen. Cruz is referring to those values embodied by a city that voted roughly 75% for that communist pig de blasio.
And let’s face it, trump is from the city, not upstate or somewhere.
He very much represents “New York values.”
