Although conspiracy theories are interesting and I am not one for most but........how do you get the greater America and Americans on board with a program to “protect its people” you stage an event
Department of Homeland Security. In my opinion its creation was George W. Bush’s greatest blunder..or plan?

Personally, I think DHS spends most of its time in detecting Homeland Americans who don't fit their mold, amassing information on potential dissidents, and keeping track of where they are (for later). As far as I'm concerned their efforts in terrorism are merely ancillary and perfunctory.
